Mithril Full-Plate of Speed

Okay, so in the DMG there is the Mithral Full-Plate of Speed. It says it acts as haste for up to 10 rounds per day (doesnt have to be consecutive so can pick and choose what rounds to use)

But getting a Mithral Full-plate suit of armor and enchanting it with Speed from MIC only gives it Haste for 1 round 3/day.

Is there any reason at all to not take the Mithral Full-Plate of Speed (only a +1 here) over the Mithral Full-Plate enchanted with speed?

Okay, well, lets see...

Full plate: 1,500 gp.
Mithril Heavy Armor: 9,000 gp.
MITHRAL FULL PLATE OF SPEED: 26,500 gp.

Difference in cost: 16,000 gp or a +4 bonus
The Armor is a +1 EB

That means FREE ACTION ACTIVATED haste for 10 rounds a day is a +3 ASA.
Speed is a flat 6,000 gp regardless of what armor you put it on.
Speed only gives you 3 rounds a day and it is a Swift action to activate.

Which one? Depends on your budget and if you use your swift action for anything.

Oooor you get a "regular " MFP and a pair of Boots of Speed on the side, for the same effect as the DMG variant, but a couple thousand GP cheaper.
