Hello, OOTS Fans! And Welcome to the FAVORITE ORDER OF THE STICK QUOTE TOURNAMENT!
In this tournament, quotes which won nominations here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=302659) and here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=303560) will compete to determine the all-time* favorite OOTS quote as chosen by you, the fans!
*Well, all-time until someone else decides to redo this tournament a while on down the road.
RULES:
1. In each thread, I will post four matchups. You may vote for ONE quote in EACH matchup. Later threads will have fewer matchups as the tournament nears its conclusion.
2. Please place the number of the quote for which you are voting (as shown in the OP) with your vote, preferably bolded.
3. If your quote loses, never fear! This is a double elimination tournament. A quote's first loss will move it to a losers' bracket, where if it beats the other quotes there it may eventually move on up as far as third place.
4. Voting for this round will conclude at 9PM EST on Friday, November 22nd. I will generally give a week for all rounds, unless it becomes clear that no one is voting for the last few days.
The round number is just that. The lowercase letter indicates what part of the round it is. The (W) or (L) indicates whether the round is for the winners' or losers' bracket. I may drop that distinction later on and run both in one thread.
Keep in mind, this is the Losers' Bracket. Any quote which loses its matchup here will be eliminated from the tournament.

Pithy yet ambiguous. An intriguing combination. Plus, the return of the accent! So much to love in these five words.

31. Room number. Both of them are kind of meh, but V's quote here is really dumb. At least Haley's is comprehensible.

Aha. Then I think Rs2 has just been busy. Hopefully we'll have the next round soon, though.
As for the results, by my count (victor in bold):
19: 12
17: 8
22: 14
24: 6
26: 5
27: 14
30: 11
31: 8
Though you'll have to double-check me there, since it was a surprising pain to count (I see why rs2 likes them in a nice, bold list form). I do think all the ones I voted for won, though, which pleases me.

Yes, we will be getting this back on the road shortly. I was home for a week for thanksgiving, just got through my last week of classes, and am now entering exam week. :smallannoyed:
DaggerPen, thanks for the standings. I don't have mine in front of me right now, but I will try to post the "official" standings soon.
The next round may be end of the week coming, but it will come, as soon as life stops getting in the way. :smalltongue:
