Hulking Hurler Weapon

So I'm working on a Hulking Hurler for an upcoming campaign, and I was wondering if there is a way to change the weight of a weapon at will, something like a shot-put that can suddenly become super massive. That way I don't have to walk around with a few thousand lb item in my pocket. This doesn't sound possible, but I figured I'd at least ask before I tossed the idea.

The Sizing Enchantment on page 43 of Magic Item Compendium let's you change the size of a weapon as a swift action.

I looked at that before, but what I'm looking for isn't so much increasing the size as increasing the mass. I'd rather toss around something the size of a cannonball that weighs half a ton than a giant-ass boulder.

It might be overkill, but you could just deem said cannonball shaped item as being blended quartz from some demi-plane with where gravity is X times that of the material plane.
