Im working on an off shoot of a front end blaster type character. Running with Flaws and such as well. Really interesting character build. But I have a few questions to be sure of before throwing it all together.
The general idea of this character is that it looks up front like a duskblade, but planning to use mostly necro type spells to poison or slow opponents down while the other players beat them down. Role of a Controller/blaster caster i guess. I have open reign to all books more or less.
I realize this character isnt exactly optimized. I just think it may be a fun run and something to try, if it doesnt work out the DM has told me I can drop the character and return an old one that i gave him as an NPC(or rather will give him when i use this character)
Questions:
1) For the purpose of Weapon Finesse, are touch attacked(not ranged) considered Light Weapons?
2) Im looking for a way to gain the Duskblade ability, Arcane Channeling in the best way. Cant seem to find any feats or other such things to help with this? Is it possible, and if not better ideas without dipping into Duskblade three levels?
3) Specializing in Necro. Ive never specialized before and would like your alls opinion. I barred Evoc and Ench? Race is a Frost Elf and class is 3 levels Martial wizard, 5 levels Master Specialist. Comments, concerns?
