Have recently started playing a 3.5 game, haven't played in years. I was late for the startup, and had to rush through character creation. Questions below. We started out as NPC classes, I got aristocrat, I'm playing a half elf and have been advised to go wizard for my chosen class, here's the stats.

STR 11
DEX 13
CON 16
INT 18
WIS 14
CHA 10

Have these Skills

Bluff 2 ranks
Diplomacy 2 ranks
Disable Device 1rank (2 points)
Gather Information 2 ranks
Handle Animal 2 ranks
Heal 1 rank (2 points)
Intimidate 2 ranks
Knowledge Nature 2 ranks
Knowledge Nobility/Royalty 2 ranks
Listen 2 ranks
Open Lock 1 rank (2 points)
Search 2 ranks (4 points)
Sense Motive 2 ranks

So I have some questions.

Q1 I thought that the skills that have points spent in () were Cross Class, were they for Aristocrat and are they for wizard?

Q2 I have another 24 skill points to spend, how should I spend them?

Q3 Should I go with wizard?

Q4 If going with wizard, what spells should I learn?

Not sure if the game will continue more than a few sessions more, so mostly want to survive and keep the party from dying.

first off: ouch, you got the worst of the NPC classes, guess it fits with the half elf to make a nice "not optimizing sign".

second: all your questions can be answered from links on here (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=399.0)

Ya might want to take a look at THIS (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=9479.msg153181#msg153181) first, since you haven't played in a while.
