Quick Question about CR

If I make a villain using a character class, what would it's CR be? Specifically a level 2 rogue. Is it Class levels + Racial CR, or in this case 2?

There is no racial CR. There is racial hit dice. First, look at what the CR of the creature is. Then, determine if the rogue levels are associated for the villain or not. You can find the rules for determining the creature's challenge rating here on

Guessing on the fact that you say racial CR, I guess that the monster you're talking about must be something other than human. What is the creature?
