Good evening playgrounders (or g'day, depending on your time zone)!
I'm away from books at the moment, but an interesting idea just struck me: can you make spellblades based on a psionic power? Because this would open interesting tricks like "share Expansion (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/expansion.htm) or Vigor (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/vigor.htm)" with the group's barbarian/fighter.
I seem to recall a passage like "with the right creation feat, you can always craft a psionic version of a given magical item" or something similar but I'm not sure and I'd like to know if RAW supports such an item.

EDIT: Also, what Personal powers would you like to share with the rest of the party using a psionic spellblade?

And the best power to share is Metamorphosis. Unlike Polymorph, there's no size restriction between Fine and Colossal, and it also allows you to become an object if you want, which has several fun applications.

Body Adjustment is great, because it's got excellent returns for augmentation, especially once metapsionics are involved.

Gemstone Breath (from Dragon Magic) and Energy Conversion both make for excellent blasting powers, too, so if one of your companions finds himself unable to contribute to combat (such as a rogue against undead or constructs), feel free to shunt a blasty power off on them.

Neat, I didn't even know about Gemstone Breath. Thank you!
