Tomas, stay out.

So, as a DM, I have been kind of neglecting the sorcerer in the party in regards to the loot. All the other guys got sweet stuff but I do not really know what to give him. Can you guys help me?

For stats, he has a 10 for everything except charisma, which is 17 or something high.

He is level 5 and currently has the following items:
* ring of protection +1
* bag of tricks, grey (this one WAS fun, but not really useful)

I was going to give him Hewards handy haversack, but I forgot and they are purchasing a bag of holding soon so it does not seem fun any longer (besides it never really was handy for his character only). I have also thought of boosting his charisma so I hope you guys have different suggestions.

Thanks!

Steal PF items. Pages of spell knowledge (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/m-p/page-of-spell-knowledge), mnemonic vest, (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/r-z/vestment-mnemonic), and a few others are awesome for a spontaneous caster.

Runestaves from Magic Item Compendium, are pretty killer. The rules for them are badly presented, but generally, the sorcerer can cast the spells from the staff by using his slots to power the staff a certain number of times per day (and thus the staff never runs out of charges). Really good, because it can add some utility spells that a sorcerer otherwise wouldn't have access to to his/her list.

When the item level is appropriate, the robes of mysterious conjuration and items from the regailia of the four set from MIC are pretty good for sorcerers. The robes give spontaneous casting of summon monster x 3/day which frees up a few good spells known, and the regalia pieces each grant access to spells that are good sometimes, but not 4-5 times per day.

If you allow dragon magazine, knowstones are a huge boost to any sorcerer.

Thank you all for the replies. I guess I really need to get my hands on the magic item compendium!

Do you know what issue?

#333.

They're Pages of Spell Knowledge (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/m-p/page-of-spell-knowledge), except that they're pretty stones instead of paper. The price is even the same (spell level squared x 1000).

I'm quite fond of the idea of having knowstones be something that spontaneous casters often trade with each other, or wager in high profile games. And while technically the value of a knowstone is determined by the level of the spell that's in it, you'll occasionally be able to trade at unequal values simply because not all spells of the same level are equal to everybody. A knowstone of "light" is going to have much more value than a knowstone of "Silent Portal" to someone who's about to go exploring dark areas (like caves). But the latter could be useful in undercover missions (and I might be a little wary of somebody seeking out this spell).

They make interesting commodities.

I should have asked before, but could you tell us what sourcebooks you have available? And were you looking for a particular price range?

I do not use any Tome of X books. I have access to any book, albeit officially not exactly in book form. Now I know where to look so I guess I should be fine.

Character wealth by level is around 7500 I believe, if you still have recommendations then that would be awesome. I understand if you now say RTFM-agic Item Compendium, and I shall do that either way.

Belt of Wide Earth (MIC) is pretty handy, what with increased carrying capacity and the ability to Teleport without burning Spells Known.

Though now that I think of it, I seem to recall it being part of the aforementioned Regalia of the Four.

Also, the usual suspects for gearing up my characters are Shax's Indispensable Haversack (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=8235865), Bunko's Bargain Basement (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=350.0), and List of Necessary Magic Items (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=187851).

If he has any spells that require saves, he needs items of charisma. At this level, +2 should do. A CL boosting ioun stone would be helpful, too, but that is for a couple levels from now.

There are tons of wands in the GM book or cloak of Charisma.
