Discussing Confucianism?

I was wondering if Confucianism was considered a religion or a philosophy when it came to the board's rules?

After all, one can discuss the tenets of Confucianism like one discuss Liberalism (and others purely theoretical political philosophies)

Sheriff: I would recommend avoiding both Confucianism and Liberalism. Whether you characterize it as "theoretical" or "philosophy," a liberalism discussion is still a political discussion. Interpret both "religion" and "politics" broadly when you consider the subject matter ban.
