Cosmic Descryer:Worth it?

Hi fellow playgrounders! Was wondering if you all could tell me whether the epic PrC Cosmis Descryer is worth taking once I go epic.
The increase in HD for summonings and bindings is ok, but there are spells like Implore and others that can induce service from outsiders. Naturalization is just fluff, the Gates per day is not so bad but the capstone ability is much too OP...

Cosmic Descryer is one of the only real epic PrCs worth taking, arguably the only one.

There is quite literally no down side. Epic bonus feats, immunities out the wa-zoo and let's not even begin to mention what could be done with their Enduring Gate ability (essentially, they can leave a single casting of a gate spell open for days).
