View Full Version : Aquatic Eidolon Advice (Pathfinder)

Never tried posting a thread here, hope I'm doing this right.

I managed to get a summoner into a sea based game, and it got me thinking, what would make for a good aquatic based Eidolon build?
I'm not terribly experienced with summoners or their end game build practicality, but this is the build I was thinking of working towards. Its most likely not that impressive, but I was trying for a Krakken motif, with limbs flavored as stronger tentacles.
This is what I thought up so far.

Base:
bite
improved natural armor
gills
swim (2)

Limbs:feet (2)
Limbs:arms (2)
Limbs:arms (2)
Claws:Feet (1)
Claws:arms (1)
Claws:arms (1)
Improved Damage: Claw (1)
Rend (2)
Huge (10)
Ability Increase (Str)(2)
Magic Attacks (1)
Improved Natural Armor (1)
Evolutions spent:
26
As you can tell the build revolves around claws and rend. I'm merely wondering if you more experienced players might have some tactics, or aquatic builds or advice that work for you.
