Long time visitors of the playgrounds will most likely know why the search function is disabled, but I've noticed that posts inquiring about the search feature seem to pop up semi-frequently. Now I know that the forum staff have a lot of things that need to get done, so I imagine having an official post about why the search option isn't there could provide a small relief in terms of using time answering such questions.
