I would like to try to create balanced homebrew rules for a crossover between magic the gathering and yu-gi-oh (in so far as whichever one you think is less balanced is balanced).
But I would like some help. I am not that good at game balance and I am not sure that I could do this on my own even if that was the only issue.
My only idea thus far on how it could work is that there is a portal in the middle of the table between universes which spells creatures etc can travel though each players plays cards by the rules of his own universe and take effect based on the rules of the of the universe the target conversations for scale as appropriate. When creature/monster attacks it would be converted to the scale of the defending players universe and it's abilities would be likewise converted.
