Hello everyone!
I play an undead warlock and I would like to create an epic spell based on Utterdark Blast! At the moment Utterdark Blast does the following:
"Your eldritch blast does negative energy damage which heals undead instead of damaging them."
I would like to create an epic spell based on that essence which will have backlash damage (negative energy), to lower the DC, which will ultimate heal me as described above.
My question is if that is possible, as i read that:
"Mitigating factors are always applied after all epic spell factors are accounted for in the development of an epic spell. 1 The caster cannot somehow avoid or make him or her self immune to backlash damage."
