Alex follows Alena in

Shadow flies up out of the crater and heads for the clouds.

An army marches down the street, taking positions and advancing to the Temple of Inari

Catherine comes out of Trog's and sits in front of the door, trying to get over everything. She notices the army and brightens before getting up and following them, hoping that they might know something.

Drake leaves Trog's and heads for the Omnishop.

Drake returns to Trog's from the Omnishop.

Tinderhall leaves the omnishop and heads towards the temple.

Alex steps out onto the streets from the temple of Inari

Kyrian exits the temple and looks at his nephew.

Alex...you've reached an age....well, your body has gone through certain changes...

[Alex Shipmaster]

"My body ages as I wish it to, and what type of crap is that coming out of your wordhole?"

[Kyrian]

Kyrian gives a small smile but pretends to not hear Alex's question.

And when a young man and young woman are alone together...they tend to have certain feelings...

Alex folds his arms and narrows his eyes at Kyrian "Cut the crap Ky, this is about Alena, correct?"

[Kyrian]

I guess what I'm saying is....just be careful, ok?

Kyrian hands Alex a small box with writing in Trojan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trojan_language) on it.

I know I've a horrible reputation when it comes to relationships, so I'm probably the last person you'll listen to when it comes to advice, but...listen to your heart. You're a good kid.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex gives him a bemused look and takes the box "I will Ky, I will." he stows the box away in a small bag of holding to be looked into later. He sighs "Now as I said in the temple, I've got a comfy room to go back to. Take care of yourself."

Kyrian gives his nephew a hug.

I will, and you do the same. And take care of Alena.

[Rebonack]

Regiji steps out of the station. He stands there in the mostly melted slush and sighs.

"Things were much simpler when I just had to blow stuff up..."

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex smiles "And you do the same with Lillah. Goodnight Ky." he walks down the street and into Trog's

[Kyrian]

Kyrian smiles before he walks off.

[Miatog]

A very depressed void that is Enigma leaves the OmniShop and walks with a hung head over to Trog’s.

After stepping out of Goldshadow, Cid and Benny keep walking down the street, making small talk to those they pass (again he's wearing the hat and monacle and talking like he's British). Eventually they pair find their way wandering into Alarra's Gems.

Dexavar steps through a portal onto the Streets. "Perhaps I shall test them." He walks meaningfully into Trog's.

[AmberVael]

The Shadow stalks through the streets, killing no less than five people before he gets to Trog's and goes inside, flicking the blood carelessly off of his claws.

[Xaspian]

Pelgof finally finds his way back to the main street. He notices several corpses, and vaguely wonders why there are there.

Shrugging, he heads in the direction in which he hopes the library lies.

[Cathrindir]

Dareln walks out of the Temple of Inari, looking around with blind eyes. Using the small bamboo cane, he manages to walk down the streets into Trog's.

Catherine walks through the streets and eventually finds Trog's. Steeling herself, she goes inside.

[Rebonack]

Regiji suddenly materializes in the vacant lot near the library. He had spent several hours in prayer that morning and he appears to be feeling pretty good about thing in general. Except for one thing. Hawk. He has the feeling that the officer will come around, but the man needs some time to sort things out on his own.

Humbleness is important. And getting humbled tends to be pretty painful. Regiji is well aware of this from personal experience.

He walks off to Goldshadow Psionics while whistling to himself.

[Fenric]

An acolyte exits the Temple of Inari and scurries toward Goldshadow Psionics

[Miatog]

Enigma leaves Trog’s and walks toward the OmniShop. He stops as he spies the Police Station. “I’ll stop in there after I change my clothes, see what that guy was doing.” He continues on to the OmniShop.

Floyd walks out of Trog's and begins exploring the town.

[McBish]

Lillah walks out of her house and toward's Inari's.

[AmberVael]

Aesa comes outside and waits for Hiko.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko comes out of the bar.

So... where to? Aesa grins at Hiko.

Hiko shrugs. Your plane?

Okay then. Aesa chants a few words and draws a sigil in the air. A small portal opens, and she smiles at it and goes through.

An acolyte from the Temple of Inari runs at top speed for Goldshadow. Another heads for Heaven's Exiles.

"Will" runs through the streets at an insane speed, finally lunging into Inari's Temple.

Hank and Jared exit Trog's the head in the general direction of Goldshadow's.

Catherine appears in the streets and looks around. She has no idea where she is, but she recognizes it as Town. After a while of wandering, she recognizes the building labled 'OmniShop' as what Tinderhall mentioned. With a shrug, she goes inside.

Gwen leaves the police station and wanders the streets, thinking.

[Silas]

Silas runs out of the station.

"Gwen, wait!"

[Lord Iames Osari]

A hooded and cloaked figure approaches. "Excuse me, Madam Mayor?"

Yes, sir? What do you need?

[Silas]

Silas runs up to Gwen.

"Gwen, I needed to ask something..."

Cursing mentally, the man says, "Oh, go ahead and attend to whatever this officer needs first. I can wait."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak exits the Temple of Iames, carrying a woman's body, and heads for the Cemetary.

Gwen turns to Silas, Yes?

[Silas]

"When I was looking for any new court cases for you, I saw a note about you saying you were attacked by someone that looked like Iames. I was wondering if you wanted to press charges or anything."

Silas looks over at the hooded man, giving him a quick scan with his Detect Alignment cybernetic eyes.

Alena leaves the Tavern and waits for Alex.

[wxdruid]

No, not at this time, I already made my report at the station.

[Lord Iames Osari]

The man registers as moderately evil.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex walks outside, looking at the skys first and then at Alena "Looks kinda bad, but at least it's not raining or snowing"

[Silas]

"Ok, I only ask because the other night, when that big fight broke out at Trog's, I'm fairly certain I saw that same person, when Iames got upset and his eyes turned yellow and he sounded evil."

I don't remember being there.

[Silas]

Silas shakes his head. "Never said you were. I was just stating that there's more proof. You are a judge, aren't you?"

[Lord Iames Osari]

The man waits, fuming silently.

[wxdruid]

Yes, I am. Gather your proof, make a case and file it at the courthouse.

[wxdruid]

Alena sweeps him off his feet and takes off, anxious to be in the air.

[Silas]

Silas nods with a smile. "Thank you for your time Gwen. You have a good evening."

He continues on his way, but goes around and watches the hooded man from a shadowy alley.

Gwen turns back to the hooded man, What did you need sir?

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex puts one arm around Alena's shoulders as per norm and rests his head against her

[wxdruid]

She flies them out to the beach, holding him gently in her arms.

[Lord Iames Osari]

"Oh, not much." Suddenly, the light in the street disappears, seemingly sucked from the universe. There is a thump, as if something heavy were hitting the back of someone's head, and then silence.

If Silas can see in absolute darkness, a second hooded figure appeared behind Gwen and whacked her on the head with a blunt instrument.
Gwen fell forward into the first man's arms, and then all three of them disappeared.

[Silas]

"IAMES!"

Silas runs to where the three were and pulls a device out of his pocket. It uses Trace Teleport.

[Silas]

Silas growl at the lack of response, and thinks. He finds the trace and uses another device to vanish.

[Lord Magtok]

SASO heads out of the station, and enters Trog's.

[McBish]

Hank and Jared find a place to hide near the Goldshadow's guild. They haven hidden very well and would be hard to find. But not immposible.

The mutt leaves the station and sniffs around a bit. He turns and starts to head towards the slums.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian and Silas appear in the streets. Kyrian vanishes again.

[Silas]

Silas enters the police station.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex, carrying Alena, walks up the streets from the beach. He steps inside Trog's.

[McBish]

The mutt starts to patrol the streets looking for the scent of the thing that killed him.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak appears outside of the Temple of Iames and goes inside.

[Fus.Weapon 1337]

FusionWeapon appears from a secret underground lair, and proceeds to walk up to everyone, yelling "POTASSIUM!" at them in a shrill, annoying tone.

"Yes, my terrible plan is working," he quietly mutters to himself "soon no one will be able to-".

FusionWeapon is suddenly cut off by a sudden shower of snow, cast by a nearby wizard.

"THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR REMINDING ME ABOUT BANANAS!" the wizard yells.

[AmberVael]

Catherine comes out of the OmniShop, putting her new amulet around her neck. She slowly walks through the town, deciding where to go, then goes into Trog's.

[Silas]

Victor wanders the streets. A NPC walks up to him and shoves him.

"Give me your money punk."

"How about you give me yours?"

Victor holds his right arm out. His hand splits into three pieces that slide back into his arm, revealing a gun barrel of some type. He grins as the energy cannon charges and fires, killing the NPC before he could even allow life to flash before his eyes.

Victor laughs and walks off, leaving the burning skeletal remains in the middle of the street.

[Destro_Yersul]

A small red fox wanders by, heading towards Trog's. It passes by the burning skeleton and blinks. The skeleton suddenly stops burning and stands up. It brushes itself off, picks up the fox, and walks into Trog's.

[AmberVael]

The Shadow comes out into the streets, blood running down its claws. Its cold, pinpoints of light that serve for eyes blink once, and then it disappears into the darkened alleys.

[Silas]

Victor walks out of an alley and looks around.

I think I'm going to like it here...

He wanders into the tavern.

Tehanu beams down and heads straight for the Temple of Iames.

[AmberVael]

Kirana stalks through streets, her eyes narrow and wary. Her Sais are ready in her hands as she looks for the source of her sudden reappearance...
Something... something slightly pulls at her attention. She doesn't know what it is, but she can sense something unusual...
She sneaks her way towards the temple of Inari.

Alchemy comes out of Trog's, then follows his mental prodding to wander the streets, pulling a hood over his face so as not to be recognized. Eventually he finds Goldshadow Psionics, and flickers out of existance in front of the door.

[Fus.Weapon 1337]

FusionWeapon, seeing Kirana, decides to follow.

[McBish]

The mutt starts to patrol the streets.

Gaheris desperately needed help. He had to find a way to either get new agents and operatives or, ideally, find a way to reach Westgate and bring his old ones. Most of them were living on the street anyway and could easily pick up and move...

He needed to know several things first, though. He set off down the street.

Tehanu walks quickly through the streets to the palace, she beams up.

[McBish]

Shea exits Goldshadow's and turns to wait for Elya.

Hank and Jared sit up in their hiding spot on a roof across from Goldshadow's as Shea exits.

[AmberVael]

Elya comes out behind Shea and looks around.

[McBish]

Shea reaches out to take Elya's hand.

Jared silently curses as Elya comes out. The two men give each other a glance and unspoken words pass between them.

Elya takes Shea's hand and smiles.
Where to?

[McBish]

How about the beach?

[AmberVael]

Ok then.
Elya begins walking to the beach at an easy pace.

[McBish]

Shea walks next to her looking around at the snow covered town.

Hank nods to Jared who slips off after them following with a great deal of stealth.

[AmberVael]

They eventually make it to the beach.

[McBish]

Hank heads over to the Goldshadow's and goes inside.

A man walking through the streets suddenly stops and convulses, then crimson light pours from his eyes until he snaps back to normal. He goes directly to a certain house and knocks on the door.

[Sophistemon]

The sound of locks being undone and a chair being moved away can be heard through the door, which creaks open as Jacky cautiously pokes his green-haired head outside. "Whaddaya want?"

[AmberVael]

Let me inside and shut the door behind you, Jack. Be quick about it, I haven't got much time.
The man's eyes blaze crimson.

[Sophistemon]

"About damn time you got here, old man. Some freaky shock's been happening to me." He opens the door wider. "Get in here. Watch your step." He motions to the corpse of the woman.

[AmberVael]

The man steps inside and glares at Jacky.
"What did you call me?"

[Sophistemon]

"Vahlziir. Whatever, I don't have time for that. My eyes are shocking yellow!" He motions to his seeing-organs which are, oddly, yellow.

[AmberVael]

"And? Vahlziir's voice is cold.

[Sophistemon]

"My eyes used to be blue! They've been blue my entire life, up until yesterday! What the shock is happening to me?"

[AmberVael]

"They're changing colors, obviously. Now I need to speak to you about your job. What have you done since you came here?

[Sophistemon]

"Let's see... I told that broad that I was hurt, she brought me to her house, I put a knife in her back and I've spent the last three days dozing on her couch, eating her food, and watching my eyes turn yellow. What have you been up to?" He is nearing hysterics.

[AmberVael]

"Its not your place to question me!" Vahlziir's thrall attempts to backhand Jacky.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky, displaying speed that he was unaware that he had, dodges the blow. He looks at Vahlziir, eyes wide. "What the shock was that!? You should have clocked me a good one! What did you do to me?"

[Cathrindir]

Dareln steps out the door and shakily walks down the street, navigating with his cane. He makes his way into the Temple of Inari.

[AmberVael]

A magical force suddenly shoots out to clutch Jacky by the throat. "Look you arrogant fool, I don't have time for this. Be quiet while I give you your instructions or I'll make you scream so loudly that the demons will know you're coming."

[Sophistemon]

Jacky, unable to speak, nods.

[AmberVael]

"I've brought you here to kill a certain man. This man is named Lyrak, he's a priest in a small temple around here.
"He has a lover named Arha. You are not to harm her until I tell you that her job is complete. After that..."
Vahlziir shakes his head.
"Arha was a servant of mine, and she failed me. Do not become like her, or I may send someone after you.
"For the moment, target Lyrak. Kill him, injure him, poison him, whatever. Make him fear and suffer."

[Sophistemon]

Jacky, still slowly strangling to death, nods again.

[AmberVael]

The magical force holding Jacky vanishes.
"Good."

[Sophistemon]

Jacky rubs his throat. "So where's this temple, and why do you want the guy wacked?"

[AmberVael]

"You can find the temple on your own."
Vahlziir suddenly leaves the man he possessed, who then explodes in a burst of black blood.

[Sophistemon]

Jacky Knives tries to wipe himself off, then gives up when the blood begins burning his fingers like an acid. "Gah!? What the- OW! Son of a shock!" He begins to pat at himself, trying to brush the acid from his clothes before it destroys them. He finally settles on dousing himself with water from the dead woman's well. "Crazy old man," he mutters, gathering his knives. He heads out of the house and begins searching for Iames' temple.

Gwen walks down the street towards home.

[Timberwolf]

Nightstar emerges from Trogs and heads towards Alarras gems to see if he special order is ready.

[AmberVael]

Elya and Shea walk up from the beach.

[McBish]

Shea picks some snow out of his hair still smiling.

Jared starts to follow them again still hiding.

[AmberVael]

Where do you want to go? Trog's? The Temple?

[McBish]

How about Trog's for some hot chocolate?

[AmberVael]

Elya nods and leads the way to Trog's.

[McBish]

Shea follows her in.

Jared thinks for a bit then goes in.

Silas steps out of the police station and starts to walk around the streets.

"Do I really want to go back to Trog's right now?"

[Kyrian]

A silver car with two navy blue stripes down the middle tears down the streets. It hits 180mph as it speeds past Trog's Tavern. The license plate can't be seen too clearly, but the word Shelby is on the back of the car. The engine revs and two flames shoot out the exhaust as the car's Nitrous kicks in and the car breaks 200mph, flying out of Town.

[Lord Iames Osari]

An avatar of Iames appears in the street outside the police station and watches the car go by. It then disappears.

[Kyrian]

Suddenly, a green BMW flies down the street after the Shelby. There is a single red cop light on the hood as they chase after Eleanor.

[Silas]

Silas leaves the station, his hand reforming into his...hand.

"Stupid git...when I get my hands on him..."

[McBish]

Hank and Jared meet up out side of Goldshadow they exchange some signifigant looks and then go on the roof of the building across the street.

The mutt stumbles of Iames's temple looking as if he was drunk.

[Rebonack]

Regiji suddenly materializes in the middle of the snow covered streets. He appears to be in a good mood, though slightly exhausted. He had some business to attend to back at Alearis and it ended up taking longer than he expected.

At this point he figures a nice long walk would be refreshing.

He begins to tread the streets with no real set destination. Hopefully nothing too terribly exciting would happen.

[McBish]

The mutt continues to stumble around the streets, his eyes unfocused he flops to the ground.

[Rebonack]

Regiji rounds a corner and spots the tipsy officer go down. He picks up the pace a bit and kneels in the snow next to him.

"The first time I see you on the streets you're getting shot by that fire archer. Second time you're carved in half. What happened this time?"

[McBish]

The mutt looks up his eyes can't seem to focus on Regiji. I feel a bit... wozy, wuzy... {canine} Woah this is weird.

[Rebonack]

Regiji quirks and eyebrow at him.

"You need some help getting back to the station?"

[McBish]

The mutt starts shifting his eyes back and forth as if following something swinging in front of him he continues to do this for some time. I... um... You suprisingly don't smell any alcohol.

[Rebonack]

"Yeah... I'll take that as a yes."

Regiji reaches down to lift Al out of the snow.

[McBish]

Woah. I feel... flying. His eyes continue to shift back and forth, but not in the same direction at once. One goes left the other goes right.

[Rebonack]

"Ummm... that isn't normal..." Regiji comments upon noticing the eyes. "Zeemis, see if you can find anything wrong with him."

The probe pokes out of Regiji's pack.

"Yay! I get to be helpful!"

It begins to play over Al with a thin wedge of cyan light.

[McBish]

((It should find some sort of posion in the mutt. It seems to be affecting his brain.))

Tehe shiny light...

[Rebonack]

"It's a neurotoxin! Yay!" the probe enthuses. Regiji looks concerned.

"This is one of those moments where casting Neutralize Poison would be very useful," he says with a frown. "And I don't have anything on me to counteract it... Ok Al, I've sent a call back home but it's going to take them a good ten minutes to synthesize an antidote. Think you can last that long?"

[McBish]

I think... neuro... woah. The mutt passes out. He still has a pulse and his vitals are ok.

Regiji sighs and pulls Al off to the station.

[Castaras]

Castaras glances round the streets, hand shifting to dagger. She relaxes, and walks on, cold, and purposeful.

[Silas]

Silas wanders around the streets.

"There is nothing fun to do in this Town..."

[Lord Magtok]

SASO leaves the tavern and heads to the station.

Fendran runs screaming down the street, pursued by twenty-five magic missiles that he is somehow managing to just barely outrun.

[Romulus]

Romulus flies above the streets, and lands outside Trog's. He enters.

[AmberVael]

Vahlziir appears in the streets, his eyes blazing crimson, furious and sick of failures. He snaps his fingers, and the NPCs nearby suddenly stop and crowd around him. With a snarl, he raises his staff and chants an incantation, then explodes in a burst of blackened blood. The NPCs suddenly gain crimson glints in their eyes, and go into the Temple of Iames.

[Lord Magtok]

SASO leaves the new temple to ALoysius, and heads to the station.

[DarkHunter]

Fendran stalks back up the street to just outside the Sleeping Elf, where he waits for a priest from Inari's to come out alone.

Utilizing the quite mundane expedient of a blackjack to the head, Fendran drags the cleric into the shadows. A short time later, the cleric resumes her walk to the temple.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian exit's Trog's and leaps up to the roof of a nearby building. He summons his guitar and begins to strum. Soon, he begins singing.

Tears fill Kyrian's eyes as he plays.

The priestess mindlessly hands a package to Fendran, then heads into the Sleeping Elf.

Fendran immediately scurries off.

[Kyrian]

As Kyrian finishes the song, his eyes turn pitch black, with a hint of red in them. He strums again and begins singing.

Kyrian then leaps down and walks off.

Regiji steps out of the OmniShop into the streets. He considers his options for a moment. Regiji fumbles around in his pack for a few moments, finally extracting a small cobalt blue orb. He slides a section of its chitinious plating aside and fiddles with it for a few moments.

"Shift it, Sal."

Shifting in three... two... one...

The orb vanishes.

Shifting sequence successful.

Regiji sighs and heads back to the vacant lot near the library. He trudges into the snow and promptly ceases to be then.

[Eldoran]

Eldoran leaves the tavern and pulls his cloak around him in defense against the cold. He trudges to the place he chooses to stay in while he's in town.

[Rebonack]

The vacant lot is suddenly filled with three and a half metric tons of silver plated draconic creature. Regiji takes several steps forward, the golden wing membranes suddenly shimmering into view as he spreads the wings to their full span.

He crouches slightly and then proceeds to launch himself into the snowy night sky.

Icy flakes sizzle upon contact with the membrane, adding a light fog to the regal effect of the golden miasma that drifts earthward with each wing beat.

He circles up, gaining altitude above the city streets. He climbs higher, above the clouds gravid with snow, finally breaking free into the star specked expanse obscured from the ground.

"What does Providence have for me this time?" Regiji asks the heavens. "What's the point in this? What part do I have to play?"

Nothing happens for nothing.

Regiji isn't overly fond of cryptic answers, but he has the feeling that this is all he's going to get. And so he presses on, ever higher into the night sky.

[McBish]

The mutt leaves the station and slowly starts to make his way to Trog's.

Castaras scuttles down the streets, Darkmoon in her hand. She pauses. Her hand makes an arcane symbol, as she transforms into the pale skinned maid she was once before. She strides off towards the temple, pausing outside. Her dagger of Venom slides out of it's sheath. A gathering of magical strength surrounds her as she stalks into the temple of Inari.

[The Unit]

Dante and Jasmine head through the streets on their warhorses. They dismount and head into Trog's.

Lyrak leaves the Temple of Iames and heads for Indurain's palace.

Alena walks out into the streets and waits for Alex.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex walks outside the tavern onto the streets

Alena grins as she sweeps Alex off his feet and gets a good running start before taking off and up into the blue sky.

Alex grins and puts an arm around Alena's shoulders "Well it looks like I've been swept off my feet yet again"

Alena laughs, It seems so, hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Alex leans up and kisses Alena on the cheek in response

Alena's heart pitter patters and she rapidly gains altitude, soon they're at a point where they can easily see everything in Town.

Alex holds her slightly tighter, he looks down at the town and the surrounding areas "Now...what looks good..."

Alena looks up and sings her joy.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex looks up at Alena smiling happily. He puts his other arm loosely around her neck and leans on her gently.

Tehanu and Lyrak beam down to the streets. She looks at him and kisses him again. He's still alive.

Alena's song changes subtly and she slowly adds love in with the joy. She twirls them around in the sky.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak kisses her back.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex grins, he grips slightly tighter and kisses her again on the cheek

Tehanu breaks off the kiss and smiles at him, "Let's go? Unless you like the street better than your house?"

Lyrak laughs a bit at that. Yes, let's go. He takes her hand and starts walking down the street.

Alena flies higher and higher as she holds him close.

A rough looking man runs down the streets.

GRRROOOOGGGG!!!!!

She takes his hand and they start walking home.

The man runs through the streets

GROG! GROG! GROG!

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex smiles and runs a hand through Alena's hair. He shivers ever so slightly as they go upwards into the colder air.

They reach the Temple of Iames, and Lyrak opens the door for her.

Alena smiles at him and lightly kisses him as she stops where they are, she hovers and starts to sing again. A wonderful song filled with sunshine, love and sweet moments.

Tehanu walks in

Lyrak follows.

Alex sighs contentedly and leans on Alena, half closing his eyes. He listens to the song, himming along to it.

GRRRRRROOOGGGGG!!!!

The man runs through the streets, and straight into a wall.

Alena soars on the wind, content to sing to Alex

Alex closes his eyes, humming along to the song. He begins to toy with Alena's hair playfully

The man gets up and starts to hit the wall.

GROG! GROG! ME WANT GROG!

The wall begins to crumble.

Alena finishes the song by kissing him, If you continue that I might have to land. She smiles at him, letting him know that she's teasing him.

Alex puts both arms loosely around Alena's neck again "Well we can't have that, it's too nice up here" he leans up and kisses her

The wall falls, along with the rest of a shop named "Grog's Grog."

ME. WANT. GROG!

Alena blushes and kisses him back, not really wanting to end the peaceful moment.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex sighs again and holds on to Alena as tightly that he thinks is safe, all of his attention devoted to her.

She whispers, I'd never drop you Alex.

[Alex Shipmaster]

"I know...I want to be as close to you as possible..."

Alena cuddles him closer as her wings keep them aloft.

Gemini runs toward the temple of Iames. "I never thought I would end up going here...."

[Castaras]

Castaras wanders down the streets, idling along the way, amazed at her new-found freedom. She heads through the town gates into the countryside.

[McBish]

The mutt makes his way to the police station. He goes in.

Then he leaves and heads to Inari's.

[darnin]

Darnin walks out of Trog's, and starts wandering the streets.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex from high up in the air briefly glances down at the world below.

Alena smiles as she starts to spiral down, I know where to go.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex looks up at Alena "Oh? Where's that?"

[wxdruid]

mmmm, close your eyes.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex chuckles and closes his eyes.

[wxdruid]

After a few moments she lightly lands on the ground, but doesn't put him down yet.

[McBish]

Lillah steps out of Trog's and starts to head towards the slums.

[Alex Shipmaster]

"Can I open my eyes now?"

The mutt leaves Inari's and goes to the station.

He leaves the station with a pouch around his neck and heads towards Inari's again.

Jacky Knives, dressed in a shirt and pants that he'd stolen while running from the temple, sits on the dead woman's couch and thinks. He thinks, of course, about death.

What in the mothershocking hell is going on here? First I'm dead, then I'm alive and bein' ordered around by an old man. He tells me to kill a priest. Fine. Wouldn't be the firs' time I've killed a preacher. But the bastard holy-man explodes me. So I'm dead again. Then I wake back up in the temple, nekkid. Why? Why am I still alive? One thought, then, bubbles to the surface of his mind: I need some underwear. He stands up and leaves the hideout, searching for a store. He stops on the way to pick up a dirty gold coin half buried in the dust of the road.

[McBish]

Lillah leads a young women towards her house.

Aerin comes out of the station and starts to patrol the streets.

Jacky returns to the hideout, where he changes into his new clothes. He lays down on the couch and goes to sleep.

Darnin eventually gets bored of wandering and heads back inside Trog's.

Aerin goes into the Dead Eye.

Aerin leaves the Dead Eye and continues her patrol.

Silas leaves the station and heads for Trog's.

A deep rumbling can be heard, and a crystal pillar erupts from the ground. This "Crystal Palace" continues to rise, until it is above the clouds.


Ark runs out of The Temple of Inari, and towards The Crystal Palace. It seems like he's in a hurry to get there.

Aerin finishes her patrol and returns to the station.

[McBish]

The mutt comes out of Trog's and sniffs around. He heads to various places. Like the cementary and the OmniShop. He exits the OmniShop looking upset. He starts patroling the streets.

Across the street from Goldshadow's Hank and Jared seem to have a silently argument. In the end Jared seems to be happier with the result.

Regiji exits the OmniShop and heads towards Trog's. Upon nearing the door he suddenly recalls that he can't fit through it in his current state, so he shifts inside instead.

[Castaras]

Castaras walks slowly down the streets, hand tightly clutching a strange pouch made of unknown material. She glances around, before walking into the temple of Inari.

[McBish]

Shea leaves the Goldshadow's and heads to Inari's.

Hank and Jared sit up as they see Shea apparently alone. They start to follow him carefully.

[Castaras]

Castaras sits at the corner of the pavement, muttering and waving her hands. A flash of light comes from the sky, as her arcane powers reach their peak. A cloud of smoke gathers round her. Silence.

[Silas]

Victor watches Trog's Tavern from a nearby alley.

[hr]
He ducks back into the shadows.

A few moments later, and old, crippled lady leaves the alley and enters Trog's.

[Castaras]

The smoke has finally cleared away. Nobody is there.

Nobody gets up and grumbles a bit, before heading over to somebody.

Somebody glares at Nobody and together they walk off to the edge of town, where they will disappear

Hank and Jared leave Inari's and return to stakeing out Goldshadow's.

The mutt leaves Trog's and starts to patrol.

Castaras appears sometime later, shining sabre in her hand. She smiles, and walks to the edge of the street, pausing outside the gates.

Alena walks out of the Tavern and waits for Alex.

Alex walks out onto the streets and smiles at Alena

Alena kisses him as she scoops him up in her arms. She gets a running start and takes off, quickly gaining altitude.

Alena flies up to a cruising altitude and puts all her concentration into flying towards the mountains.

Castaras wanders back into town, and walks into Glug's and Drilis'.

The mutt continues to patrol looking out for demons.

Castaras walks purposly down the streets, drawn by the smell of a carrot cookie to the Cookie HQ.

Regiji steps out into the slushy snow, wondering what he should do now.

"Hmmm..." says he. "I wonder what I should do now."

While he stands there amidst slushy snow wondering, pondering, considering, an idea springs within his mind.

An amazing, wonderful, fabulous idea which he has amidst the slushy snow.

"I'll go do something," says he. "Something amazing and wonderful and fabulous which I will do amidst the slushy snow!"

And so he does. What is this amazing, wonderful, fabulous thing which he does amidst the slushy snow?

You'll never know.

Tehanu waits while Lyrak locks up the Temple. When he's finished they walk arm in arm to dinner.

Of course, never knowing something is a rule, one way or another.
And if the Dancing Man knows anything (which he doesn't, he just kind of makes things up as he goes along) its that rules are meant to be broken.
Broken, smashed, nuked, and then tapdanced on for good measure.
The Dancing Man takes off his hat to get a better look at what Regiji is doing. This action somehow paradoxically triggers his existance in the streets, an action which then hits the god of law, the god of rules, and, for no real reason, the fourth wall, with three hand grenades and a vacuum cleaner. With rule breaking eyes, the Dancing Man sees what Regiji is doing.

Salner walks through the streets, leading his team of 4 vikings and an ox-cart towards the forest near the town.

A surprise the Dancing Man spies with his rule breaking eyes. An amazing, wonderful, fabulous surprise he spies amidst the slushy snow. And what it is or was or wasn't was never meant for him to know.

And so he spies with rule breaking eyes one Regiji amidst the slushy snow. And this his prize a true surprise now does he know.

Regiji, amidst the slushy snow, is doing exactly what he isn't while humming a song without tune. Without motion he waltzes an Irish jig and sings a song, a wordless boon. He walks whilst running and jumps whilst crawling and with a flourishing bow he stands straight and tall. Had such surprise met any other eyes they would have truly lost their mind.

And through it all and in it all and from it all a soundless voice splits the air.

Guard yourself, for true chaos is the most simple of things to predict.

The Dancing Man decides that the soundless voice didn't speak, exist, or occur in any way at all.
So it didn't.
Of course, this not-speaking occurs after it spoke, so a certain black top-hatted therapist somewhere far away gets another paycheck from the God of Laws as he tries to cope with this mad-man's existance.
In the meantime, (as in, the meantime between now and when the Dancing Man decides to come down from the sun, where he last was and still is while also being down here) the Dancing Man begins poking holes through his hand while singing a song written by Edgar Allen Poe. This is slightly problematic, since 1) Edgar Allen Poe does not yet exist, and will not exist in this world and 2) He never wrote any songs anyways.

ESARS leaves the non-existent mafia HQ, and pauses in the middle of the streets, with a wary look in his red, cybernetic eyes.

To nobody in particular: Strange...I sense the presence of other machines. The are approaching from the slums...in great numbers...
