Streets of the Town XIV

[vegetable_sorbet]

A second man in purple full-plate leaves the omnishop, looking utterly furious, and mutterin under his breath. he too ducks into the alleyway, and emerges seconds later very red-faced. He storms through the streets towards Inari's.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex looks down at the town beneth him "Hmm, that stream in the countryside would be nice...or the fish pond in the temple of Inari's."

[wxdruid]

Okay, fish pond it is. I like Inari's. She spirals down to land lightly in the gardens.

The first man leaves Inari's, now dressed in a simple black tunic. He makes his way to the police station.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu steps out of the Temple of Iames and waits for Lyrak. She looks around for any sign of the Emperor.

[Meynolds]

Chance flies out of Saurous' Guild of the Magical Arts and Psionics (that's a mouthful!) and heads straight to Trogs.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak comes out of the Temple of Iames and joins her.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu slides one arm around his waist as they start walking towards Trog's.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak smiles and puts an arm around her. I like this.

[wxdruid]

"I love you," as she briefly squeezes him with her arm around his waist.

[Lord Iames Osari]

I love you, too, Tehanu. And I have good news. You remember the spell I mentioned yesterday?

"Yes, I remember"

[Lord Iames Osari]

Well, I cast it today. If I'm killed, I'll be brought back.

[wxdruid]

"Oh, are you sure?"

the third man in purple full-plate leaves inari's, accompanied by the man the first had brought in earlier. they vanish in a flash of purple light.

[McBish]

McBish wanders the streets. He heads to the beach.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak nods. Unfortunately, it has the side effect of making me slightly more vulnerable to diseases and poisons, among other things. But I figured it was worth it.

[wxdruid]

"I still plan to kill him for this."

[Lord Iames Osari]

It's your decision, Lyrak says neutrally. A thought strikes him. Say, have you ever used the abilities Iames gave you? The ones you gave up your aura for?

[wxdruid]

"My soulknife?" she makes one appear, "I haven't used it on anyone yet." They reach the door to Trog's and she holds it for him.

[Lord Iames Osari]

I didn't think you had, Lyrak says, entering.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu makes the knife vanish and walks in after him.

[Nevrmore]

Hawk walks out of the station for the first time in almost a week, and for the first time in years - unarmed. He begins wandering the streets.

[AmberVael]

Will comes out of Trog's and patrols the streets.

[McBish]

The mutt starts to patrol the streets hoping to catch some demons.

[Mr. Moon]

Damian strides out the door, his sword straped to his back like normal, looks around, and begins to walk around the streets.

[AmberVael]

Will notes the mutt coming towards him and 'mists' into the shadows, hoping he will be passed by.

[Nevrmore]

Floyd walks out of Alarra's Gems, mumbling something about eye diamonds.

[McBish]

((Um does Will have a scent that the mutt might pick up on? And is he a demon?))

[AmberVael]

((He is scentless, oddly, and demonless))

[McBish]

((Ok then))

The mutt does indeed pass him by not even knowing he did so.

[Mr. Moon]

((Is the mutt an actualy dog, or what? There's no dogatar in signature.))

[McBish]

Will watches the mutt, then fades out of the shadows and keeps walking.

[McBish]

The mutt heads to the cementary.

[Mr. Moon]

((Aww, that picture makes me feal bad. The poor thing must not have a home.))

Damian was walking down the street when he met a large(?)-ish dog. Having always had a soft spot for dogs, he knelt down and offered a hand for the dog to sniff. "Hey, boy."

[Nevrmore]

((Man, I wonder how many people spell cemetery wrong...))

Floyd stops dead in his tracks, staring straight at Will. He begins a very intuitive train of thought.

"Eye diamonds....Eye + Diamonds = ...Eyemonds!" He hurriedly writes that down on some paper that he actually didn't have before, shoving it into his jacket pocket. Another stroke of genius immortalized on paper.

[McBish]

The mutt decieds to put off going to the cemetary for a second. Hi there.

((Not really big. To see my big dog go to Trog's he is sleeping by the fire. I do I do.))

[Mr. Moon]

((Oh. Well then. Not small-ish. Averge-ish, then.))

A bit taken aback, Damian blinked. "You can talk?"

[McBish]

Yeah. It comes in handy every now and then. The mutt moves in a way to make sure that Damian can see his badge.

[Mr. Moon]

Damian lets a chuckle escape. "This Town never ceases to amaze." he said.

Then he saw the badge.

Now, the High Cleric of Banjulhu, who happens to be a Lawful Evil god, should try to stay as far away from the law as possible.

However, after a moment of thinking, Damian had an idea strike him.

"A cop as well?" he raised an eyebrow, and smiled.

[McBish]

Yeah, I do my best. But in this Town it is hard.

[Mr. Moon]

Damain nodded. "I can understand." The priest said. "I'd hate to keep you from your work. But if you ever need some help, just track me down. I'm called Derek." Damain gave a diffrent name then his own, just to be safe.

[McBish]

Ok thank you. The mutt then goes to the cemetary.

[Mr. Moon]

Damian nods and continues forth, finding his way to the Omnishop, he glances inside, but changes his mind and returns to the Church of Banjulhu.

[Blood]

A man in ragged clothes, who appears to be badly bleeding, limps into the Town from the Woods. He seems to not be able to see well; he finally finds a door, and falls inside of it.

[AmberVael]

Will vanishes.

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris emerged from Alarra's Gems and followed Floyd for a short distance before becoming satisfied that the madman wasn't causing trouble. He then walked off into the night, the occasional snowflake swirling around him as he moved.

[Destro_Yersul]

Destro walks down the street, coming from his house. He is humming to himself as he walks, obviously happy about something. He steps through the wall of Trog's, deciding he would rather like a drink.

[AmberVael]

Will blinks into existance outside of the Police Station, then runs off to Trog's.

[Nevrmore]

Floyd heads back to Trog's.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu and Lyrak walk out of Trog's, they walk to the Temple of Iames and go inside.

Hawk walks out of the station, the earthen green strength aura still permeating around him.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi comes out of the Station. Hawk, I can either arrest you for destruction of that badge, or you can pay the fine for it here and now. Which will it be? She is calm and confident, one hand on her sword.

[Destro_Yersul]

Destro steps out of Trog's and heads towards the police station. Hello Hawk. How've you been? He passes by without even making a remark about women's clothing.

[Silas]

Silas follows after Destro.

[Nevrmore]

"Going to dog me till the end, huh?" He says, scantly noticing Destro. He pulls a few gold coins out of his pocket, not bothering to count them, or note that they were the last of his money. He thrust his hand out to Verdandi, almost in a punching motion, waiting impatiently for her to take the money.

[AmberVael]

I do not appreciate those who do not respect the force. If you refuse to see our authority, it does not prevent it from being exercised on you. She takes his gold and turns to go back to the station.

[Destro_Yersul]

Destro mumbles something about law and enters the police station.

[Nevrmore]

"Respecting the trash is inherently stupid, captain." Hawk said, halfway wishing Verdandi was still outside to hear it.

[AmberVael]

Alchemy appears outside of Goldshadow Psionics and stands at the doorway, watching it suspiciously... something had changed.
The Shadow comes up behind him, along with Kirana, Vael, and Ayral.
Why do you all seem familiar to me?
Alchemy turns to them.
Why is it that I can sense you?
Ayral glares at Vael, but oddly does not attack him. The Shadow is similarly peaceful for no apparent reason. Kirana stands to one side, while Vael's eyes suddenly gleam a dark red, not a recognizable red from when he was evil, but something else entirely.
We are the Faded. Our time has passed... we had died and are slowly becoming entirely memories of this town. You are one of us, you died in a hopeless cause, and should have never lived again.
Vael taps his staff once.
But... for one reason or another... we are being given a new chance. A chance to become real again.
Vael turns and begins to leave, his cloak billowing behind him.
Come. We must find others to join us in our cause...
The Faded follow Vael away to Kyrian's Temple.

[Magician]

Magician walks down the street, wondering if any of these places would serve the sort of food he would like for breakfast. After a while, he gives up and goes to Trog's.

[AmberVael]

The Faded, now joined by Xemnas, come out of the Temple of Kyrian and wander the streets. After a moment Vael sees Inari's and smiles.
If ever there was a chance for a faded to be somewhere, it would be there. Come.
The Faded go into Inari's Temple.

[Castaras]

Castaras walks quickly down the street. She heads into her house and locks the door, securing it with magic.

She comes out a few minutes later, walking back to Trogs. The pure black dagger is gone.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Drake walks down the street confidently and goes into Trog's.

[McBish]

McBish and Natalie head into the countryside, hand in hand.

[Kenyon]

Kenyon steps out of Trog's, and starts wandering the streets, looking for plo-er, excitement.

After some time, Kenyon sighs in frustration. He leans up against a building, and pulls out a seldom-used pipe with a match, and puffs away for a bit.

"It figures, doesn't it? I go out and about to find somethin' interestin', and the Town's deader'n a doornail. Yet when I want a nice quiet day, everything within a 50 foot radius of me starts explodin'."

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex and Alena appear on a high rooftop "This good?"

[wxdruid]

Alena opens her eyes, Yes, she steps away from him and turns around to hug him. I just need to fly, she looks up, the sky is calling me. I'll be back down to get you after I work a few kinks out.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex smiles and nods "I'll be waiting."

[wxdruid]

She gives him a quick kiss and steps back. She leaps into the air and takes off, climbing quickly into the sky.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex sits down and lies back, putting his hands behind his head, and looks up at the sky.

[Kenyon]

Kenyon, still smoking, looks up to see Alena in the air. His mind proceeds to wander, and he asks himself what happened to his flight pack.

[wxdruid]

Alena climbs straight up, as she reaches an apex she starts to fall, she turns it into a dive. At the last moment, as she gets perilously close to hitting Alex, she snaps out of the dive and glides over him. She beats her wings and slowly gains altitude. On the way up she flips over and over enjoying the wind through her wings.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex chuckles to himself and tries to follow where Alena is in the sky

Alena flies toward one end of Town, pushing herself to go faster as she reaches the end she flies straight up and over. She reaches the top of the loop and falls into a dive. She flares her wings out and starts to climb again. She flies as high as she possibly can over the Town and looks down.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex closes his eyes, not being able to see Alena as she climbed so high

Alena smiles as she looks down, all of the buildings are so tiny and small, she twirls in the air and starts to slowly spiral down. She finally ends up next to Alex and lies down on the roof next to him, laying one wing partially over him.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Drake leaves Trog's and starts to explore the town.

[wxdruid]

Gwen walks down the street looking for Drake.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Drake sees her and smiles. He says in his quiet voice, Hello, Gwen. Nice day, isn't it?

[wxdruid]

Hello Drake, Yes it is a very nice day. She looks around, we need to find some NPC's.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Drake nods and smiles in approval. Ah, yes. Where should we start, do you think?

[Meynolds]

Chance leaves Trog's and flies over to the Omnishop.

[wxdruid]

The slums are probably the best place, but we need to stay away from certain people's residences.

[Lord Iames Osari]

I trust you know which areas to avoid, then?

[wxdruid]

Gwen slowly smiles, Oh yes. Let's go.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Courteously, Drake motions her ahead. Ladies first.

[wxdruid]

Gwen continues to smile as she starts walking towards the slums.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex shifts slightly towards Alena and strokes her wing gently

[Lord Iames Osari]

Drake follows her, fingering the hilt of his rapier.

[Kenyon]

Kenyon finishes with his pipe, and pockets it.

"This is strange. I've been out here for hours, and no explosions, no cries for help, nothin'. I'm startin' to think I got sucked into another version of Town where nothin' exciting happens..."

Alena smiles back, You ready to go up?

[Meynolds]

Chance wanders around, searching for Magician.

After a while he finds him, he enters the Herbalist shop.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex smiles slowly and nods.

[wxdruid]

Alena grins and gets up, scooping him up in the process. :-) She runs towards the edge of the building and drops off the edge, flapping her wings she quickly gains altitude.

[Alex Shipmaster]

As usual Alex puts his arms loosely around Alena's neck and rests his head against her.

Alex smiles and hugs her gently, listening to the music.

Rell, the blind man, feels his way out of the Police Station, where he takes a walk along the Streets. After a few mintues, he walks into Trog's Tavern.

Alex sighs and half closes his eyes, leaning into Alena slightly more

[AmberVael]

The Faded come outside and flicker away.

Alena cuddles him closer and sings a more upbeat tune (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyOOYn3A_6I).

Alex grins, he leans up and kisses Alena on the cheek. He half closes his eyes again and sighs.

Alena smiles, Will you sing one now?

[Flabbicus]

(Because Kenyon so willed it...)

An illithid moves to the area around Trog's. It deposits a large translucent jar on the ground and twists the lid off of it. A bluish liquid plasma flows out from the container and shifts to form a face. As more flows out its shape begins to become more and more apparent, that of a humanoid. The illithid watches the spectacle from a few feet away.

[Lord Iames Osari]

There is a small scream from the Slums; it cuts off abruptly.

[Kenyon]

Kenyon watches the illithid and the weird blue-goop-man with interest, when he hears the scream coming from the Slums.

"What the heck?" He looks around for any Gufis, but no such luck. "Best go check that out..."

Pulling Soulstriker off his back, he takes off for the Slums.

Hawk's eyes flicker open. He sits up. With no home, and not being able to sleep in the police barracks, his only option was to sleep in the streets. He sighs, pulling his trenchcoat over his arms.

Alena smiles and harmonizes with him, her wings keeping them aloft high over Town.

[Flabbicus]

The plasma effigy (that's what I'm going to call it from now on) is now fully formed and looks around with cold anger and contemplation. The illithid picks the container back up and shoves it into a portable hole. It watches the creature morph around and follows it as it heads towards the largest body of water it can find...

Alena swirls them around on the wind as she lifts her voice to combine with Alex's.

[Kyrian]

Ares leaves ToB, and as he walks towards Trog's, he shapeshifts into Kyrian.

Alex finishes the song and sighs contentedly

Snowraven and Nightstar are talking about a few things while leaning on a roadsign. The hear the scream and see Kenyon set off to investigate so do nothing about it. Nightstar lights a cigar and passes it to Snowraven, lighting another for herself.

[Flabbicus]

... Which just happens to be a puddle. Which it gobbles up greedily. The illithid's temple pulse and the air around him vibrates with latent psionic power. The plasma effigy shleps over to it and awaits another command.

Alex smiles and closes his eyes, listening to the music

[Timberwolf]

Snowraven and Nightstar continue to smoke peacefully. Nightstar is bringing Snowraven up to date on her thoughts on the Town

Gwen walks quickly out of the slums, carrying the girl in her arms. She walks towards her house on the edge of Town.

Alena moves on to another song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nd_mI08B5k0), her feelings and emotions evident in the song.

[Timberwolf]

Snowraven points her cigar at Gwen and asks

"Who's that carrying the comatose girl ?"

"That's Gwen the druid, she's probably the biggest wheel around here."

"She the mayor then ?"

"Yep"

"Why would she be carrying an unconscious girl ? Surely she can heal her ?"

"Very good point, I wonder......."

Nightstar looks very very thoughtful, remembering a couple of evenings in Trogs.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Drake follows Gwen, carrying an unconscious man with Kenyon.

[Kenyon]

Kenyon comes out of the slums, carrying an unconscious man. The tiny voice in the back of his head keeps needling him with questions. "If Gwen's able to heal people, why're these two still passed out? You've been cured of drunkeness before, it's not like she couldn't pull it off..." "Hey, Gwen's good people. She wouldn't go and hurt these people." "You sure about that?"

Kenyon sighs, and brushes the voice away again.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex gives Alena a hug and kisses her on the cheek

She grins down at him, Let's go eat some dinner, I just regret that I can't sit in a booth with you, my wings get in the way to much.

[wxdruid]

Gwen opens her gate and vanishes into her garden.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Drake follows her.

[Timberwolf]

Snowraven and Nightstar watch the procession enter Gwen's house.

[Alex Shipmaster]

"Where do you fancy? I think there's some places other than Trog's"

[wxdruid]

I don't know about them, what would be good?

[Kenyon]

Kenyon follows alongside Drake.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex thinks for a second "I think there's two places...one of them is quite similar to Trog's but I've not been in it before, and the other is a full blown restaurante"

Well, let's try the second, she flies lower over Town, Where is it?

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex looks down "I think it's...there" he points in the direction of the SMBR

[wxdruid]

McBish and Natalie enter the town and make there way to Trog's. McBish is leaning heavily on Natalie.

Alex smiles at Alena and holds the door open for her

[Blood]

Rell walks out of Trog's, finds a generic shop, and buys some things. He pockets his remaining money and walks back into Trog's, after a while of bantering with the shopkeepers.

Alena smiles and tightly folds her wing to her back before she walks in.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex follows her in

[McBish]

McBish and Natalie go into Trog's.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye steps into the streets from Trog's. He smiles to himself and walks a little way down, and then vanishes in a cloud of red smoke.

[Blood]

Rell walks out of Trog's and heads to the Police Station, using his cane for support.

Svadris and Thud come into Town form the woods and head for the Temple of Iames.

[Lord Magtok]

That coma was too long, even for me...

SASO leaves the station, and heads to Trog's.

Aesa appears on the roof of Trog's, her wings bristling and her arms crossed.

Rin appears next to Aesa. Hi mom...

[AmberVael]

Hey. Aesa does not seem to be in the best of moods.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Rin frowns. Is something wrong?

[AmberVael]

Its nothing serious. He's going to be leaving anyways... Aesa flicks her wings closer around her.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Rin frowns. Who's leaving?

[AmberVael]

Aesa jerks slightly away from Rin, closing her mind to her. Just- don't worry about it.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Rin frowns. Mom... Please... If you have a problem, I wanna help.

[AmberVael]

Aesa leans over to her and hugs her.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Rin hugs her back, sighing. It's his dreams, isn't it?

[AmberVael]

Aesa doesn't say anything, but continues to hug her.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Rin sighs, though she dooesn't break away from the hug. He sees her trying to kill you... And he tries to stop it.

[AmberVael]

It doesn't change the fact that he's leaving... Aesa puts a wing around Rin too.

Rin frowns. Why? Why is he leaving?

[AmberVael]

You said... didn't you? What did you mean by that then? Aesa frowns back at Rin.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Rin bites her lip. He thought you were going to kick him out because he didn't tell you about my blood mother...

[AmberVael]

Oh... Aesa looks suddenly confused. Are you sure?

[Takehiko the Marooned]

She smiles. I looked myself. He was scared of you leaving him.

[Flabbicus]

The illithid removes and uncorks the jar, recalling the plasma effigy back to its container he recovers the lip. He walks back down to the sewers.

[AmberVael]

Aesa looks at the streets below, wondering why this didn't make her any happier.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Rin hugs Aesa tighter. Don't worry... Everyone loves you. Even Nobu. Though him, slightly less. Not signifigantly, though.

[AmberVael]

Aesa keeps one arm around Rin, but continues to look down at the streets.

Rin frowns. What's wrong?

I don't know anymore, Rin. Aesa smiles a little sadly at her.

Svadris leaves the Temple of Iames and heads to the police station.

Rin frowns, looking at the ground. Then why be unhappy if there's no reason to be?

Svadris pauses outside the station, then thinks better of it, and continues to the woods.

[AmberVael]

Aesa shrugs. Maybe I just don't know why, but I have a reason.

Rin hugs Aesa again, and smiles slightly. Hey... Wanna go pick on dad? That might cheer you up a bit...

Maybe... Aesa gently pulls away from Rin and lightly jumps down into the streets.

Rin follows, smiling slightly.

Gwen walks down the street and looks for someone.

*Atreyu trots out of Inari's and starts meandering around, trying to decide which temple to visit*

"I do go to Fharllagians, or Banjo's, or I think I saw one for thor earlier, maybe olidimara's, I have some rogue levels. She may help."

Gwen spots her favorite llama and walks over to him. Hello Atreyu, having a nice evening? She scratches behind his ears.

[Kyrian]

Aramir runs down the streets.

[Atreyu the Masked LLama]

*he humms happily and leans into the scratching* "yeah, its been great. Some playing with the kids, some relaxing at the temple. How was yours?"

[Blood]

Rell walks out of the Police Station, smiling, and heads to Trog's. He looks around at everything, taking everything in all at once.

[Kyrian]

Aramir tries to hide behind Gwen, but how easy is it to hide a 300+ lb panther behind a single person?

[Kenyon]

Jackie walks out from the Dead-Eye, over to Trog's, a look of concern on her face.

[wxdruid]

Oh, very delightful, as she continues to scratch in just the right spot and exert her animal empathy skills on him.


Rain chases after Aramir and tries to jump on him.

Gwen smoothly moves to the side and lightly takes hold of Atreyu's ear to lead him away from the cats.

[Kyrian]

Aramir rolls to the side but still gets hit slightly. He's thrown off balance and is dizzy.

[Nevrmore]

Floyd strolls out of Trog's, regarding the sleeping Hawk on the side of the street with a pitiful look. He wanders around town.

[Atreyu the Masked LLama]

*he follows her lead, nuzzling happily and talking* "I hardly see you anymore, but I'm rarely in Trog's. Its too dangerous, Pxp said that something attacks almost every night. Remember when all we had to fear was Lykan. How's Rain?"

[wxdruid]

Rain leaps for Aramir to try and pin him.

Rain is right over there, she points, She's doing fine. Gwen slips a halter out of her bag and hides it behind her skirt. Her other hand dips into her bag and brings out some oats for him.

[Kyrian]

Aramir shakes his head and recovers just in time to get tackled. He growls playfully.

[Atreyu the Masked LLama]

She distracts Atreyu by leaning into him and flicking her small tail.


Rain playfully brings up her hind legs to rake at Aramir as she nips his neck.

Hawk rolls over, awakened by the sounds of conversation. His clothes, already dirty and unwashed, now had trails of gravel all over them.

[Atreyu the Masked LLama]

*The llama bleats in shock, about a half bleat, before the halter slips over him. His eyes follow the lead back to Gwen as a llama and he grins in amusement at his friend*

Gwen grins and tugs lightly on the lead as she nudges his hindquarters with hers.

Jackie leaves the Tavern, looking extremely frustrated. She gives the two llamas an odd glance, as she makes her way to the Police Station.

Aramir purrs and rolls out from under Rain.

Rain purrs at Aramir and starts licking him.

Aramir rolls onto his back and stretches.

Gwen and Atreyu vanish into Gwen's garden.

Aramir purrs and turns so he can rake playfully at her side.

Rain continues to purr and lightly bites at his paws.

Aramir growls playfully and rolls from Rain. He gets up and starts slowly backing up.

She starts to stalk him, her tail twitching invitingly.

[Kyrian]

Aramir grins as he keeps backing up.

Rain keeps stalking him.

[Kyrian]

Aramir backs up and his face twists to shock (however a panther can show that, I don't know.) as he realizes he's hit a wall.

Rain grins and swipes at him with one paw.

[Kyrian]

Aramir growls playfully and lifts up onto his hind legs.

Rain rolls under him and tries to knock him over.

Aramir falls down and rolls back to his feet.

Rain laughs and tries to knock him over again.

[Kyrian]

Aramir holds his ground and playfully pushes back.

Rain tries to distract him with her tail so she can push him over.

Aramir, though you'd think after all the time he and Rain have been together would be used to this, is easily distracted. He falls back over.

Rain sits on him and starts to lick behind his ears.

Aramir purrs and paws playfully at her.

Alex carries Alena out of SMBR and along the streets towards the tavern. He whispers in her ear "Stay downstairs for a bit or go straight upstairs?"

Rain lightly bites his throat.

[Kyrian]

Aramir just keeps purring. His tail whips about.

Alex nods as they conveniently reach the door "Ok" they both enter the tavern

Hm, what to do with a silly panther?

[Kyrian]

Well, you've almost got the first step done...

Oh really? hm, I know I'm sitting on you and you're at my mercy.

Aramir grins as he shadow jumps a few feet away.

You were saying, lovely?

Rain smiles, You are always at my mercy. She gets up and starts padding past him, waving her tail in front of his nose as she goes by.

You love being right, don't you?

Aramir grins and starts after her.

Jackie walks out of the Station, mumbling to herself. She quickly makes her way to the Dead-Eye.

Of course, Rain leads him to Gwen's gate and in to her favorite garden.

Aramir pauses for a moment, looking out to the countryside. He shakes his head and follows Rain.

It's a quiet night in town. Almost too quiet. Nothing can be heard but wind, trees, and the creaking of rope. The trees and wind are natural. The creaking rope is suspending an upside down body in an alley. Blood drips from the body's headless neck, pooling in the alley below. But sometimes it's where the blood isn't that should be noticed. Droplets of blood have spattered across the walls of the nearby buildings, except in one place. A void sits against one wall. A void shaped like someone wearing a hooded cloak...

Castaras walks out of Trog's and heads off to her house.

Castaras comes out a few minutes later, heading back to the tavern.

A captinay looking man forcefully leads a young man with a black eye to the police station. I can walk you know. "I know you can probably run as well."

[Blood]

Rell walks out of Trog's and hurries over to the Police Station.

[Indurain]

Indurain sits up in the alleyway where he had last fallen. His wounds seem to have healed, but it is still quite evident that he'd been through one hell of a fight. Fighting off the slight atrophy, he braces against the wall and pulls himself up.

"That Lyrak will pay for what he's done." Indurain says, looking down at his hand, a wicked grin splayed across his face.

He slowly shuffles off towards Trog's.

Anna leaves Inari's, heading for the police station, hesitating at the entrance before entering.

The door to Trog's slams open, and Destro strides out. He orients himself towards the forest and breaks into a run.

McBish steps out of Trog's and starts to follow Destro at a slower pace.

Nightstar and Snowraven, though little, set off after Destro with their tiny legs going 19 to the dozen
