Dexavar's Mansion

The only entrance to this dwelling is through a portal summoned at any time by Dexavar, and only on the Material Plane. It was summoned by the Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion spell, so it is well equipped. The mansion has a nearly infinite amount of food, forty unseen servants that cater to Dexavar's needs and keep the mansion tidy, and is eloquently furnished. There is a hallway that has a wooden door (each door is marked with Dexavar's arcane mark) into each room except the storage room, which is upstairs. It has a large, magically locked storage room which contains his millions of gold, large amounts of magic items, and his phylactery. It also has a medium-sized study, which is filled with scrolls, parchment, quill pens with ink, and plenty of desk space for working. There is a moderately small library, which has lots of bookshelves full of tomes and hardcover books. A large banquet hall with a long table for eating has plenty of space for visitors, which he never has. Finally, there is a small summoning room with drawer space used up with a few assortments of clothes and candles, which has a ritual circle surrounded by magic runes. Dexavar doesn't need to sleep, so there is no bedroom.

I will likely end up double-posting, since the mansion is so isolated.

A portal opens, and Dexavar steps out and into the mansion at the inside of the front door. He dismisses his disguise, reverting to his black-robed lich form. In a low, growling voice, he sighs in comfort. Dexavar goes into his storage room and checks on his phylactery before heading to the study to do some generic paperwork.

Dexavar casts Disguise Self and opens a shimmery portal, which he steps through.

The portal opens, and Dexavar steps out and dismisses his disguise. He goes to write in his personal journal and put down some records.

Dexavar looks angry. "I need more power!" He opens a portal and steps through it angrily without disguising himself.

[Blood]

Dexavar steps through the portal, dismisses his disguise, and immediately gets to work on documents in his study.

The lich casts Disguise Self, taking on his usual alias, and opens a portal to Trog's. He steps through it.

Dexavar steps through a materializing portal, fuming. He dismisses his disguise and moves quickly to his study, his black cloak trailing in the air behind him. His Unseen Servants have long learned not to disturb him while in this mood.

Dexavar casts Disguise Self and steps through a conjured portal.

Dexavar steps through his portal, holding a small ball. He dismisses the disguise and is grinning evilly (having very little skin around his cheeks enhances that effect). He goes into his library to look up a couple of spells, and then heads into the summoning room to casts spells on his orb. After a few hours, he is satisfied, and puts it in its rightful spot in the storage area, and then goes down to the study to finish some work.

Dexavar takes his phylactery with him as he steps through a portal to Trog's.

Dexavar is dead, so as soon as his phylactery is destroyed, the mansion and everything in it simply ceases to exist.
