Hi there. I am a longtime D&D player, but my sister is wanting to get into the game, and I'm pondering just how to get us started (I don't particularly want to throw the whole core sets at her and her friends). I'm not even necessarily worried about it being proper D&D, as such, but more the general concepts of the game.
As such, I've been looking both at the Pathfinder Beginner Box and the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game as avenues to start us out, as the latter seems like it may get a lot of the feel of D&D into a system with much less in the way of rules. Has anyone tried either/both of these? What would you recommend?
