Holy cow, you folks move fast! Sorry for not posting. I have a pretty hectic work and school schedule.
On Mondays I work 8 am to 4 pm, Tuesday I have class from 10:30 to 4:30 and work from 7 pm to midnight, Wednesday work from 8 am to 4 pm, and Thursday the same as Tuesday.

It's kind of neat. The area I live in, right along the yellowstone river has about three dozen bald eagles of various ages. At least, that's how many I've seen in the trees at once, so there's probably more.

On a related note, I heard bald eagle tastes like a mix between spotted owl and condor. Could be tasty. lol

Eh, not all that endangered any more. The anti-DDT laws and rehab programs has been extremely successful and they're only on the threatened list, and in some areas off the list completely.

it would have to be a very unique virus that transits between species like that. If it could then yes, global apocalypse from zombie birds and mosquitoes

but without higher brain functions humans ain't much in nature, so the infestation lasting a week or so is pretty spot on. then there is weather- zombies won't do well in sub zero without body heat, and during the summer bacteria spawn wholesale.

So a cross species zombie infestation that takes place in the spring would be scary. Provided there is no military infrastructure and no one locks their doors.

pretty much. There is a reason the bayonet charge died in WW1.

of course, that is also dependent on the type of zombie. If it s the mindless shambler, then yeah, MG fire will take them down...

if the virus simply re-write behavioral patters and synchronized the host with some sort of intelligent hive mind then they can be armed zombies employing modern tactics with perfect communications

hmmmmm, i think i'll grab that plate carrier as well because it might come in handy, got to check the d20 modern armor list to see what that translates into

edit. looks like a +2, bringing AC to 20, got my saiga and my LBV on so i got 5 mags and 150 rounds of 7.62x39, and there are no rules for reflex sights so bugger, I'll grab some duct tape and upgrade my studio suit to some anti bite gear and pop 2 glow sticks and some antiseptics in the grenade pouches of my vest. I am also duct taping my lightweight camcorder to vest so i can hands free report and gun.

Why does this game lapse so much? Can we establish something like the gm tells us how often he can post. Say every 2 days for example. We all have to post in that period if you don't its assumed you do nothing? Personally i would prefer daily or every other day.

Honestly, while I really like the game, I can't help but feel like it's floundering with the guessing game on when the posts will be, and it feels like it's a matter of time before it just dies.

It's sad, but kinda the way things go in pbp games by what I've seen.

Another thing that I've noticed is really, really short posts by the Dm. I understand why - Dming is a lot of writing, but maybe some more explanation on a scene, or surroundings would be nice? Maybe it's just me. I know it's hard to set the scene sometimes.

Dont worry these are the weak zombies easier to kill You ang Player add a bonus of 10 xp to your sheets this is kill bonus xp after battle goes to everyone but whoever kills something gets a bonus keep the kills on your sheet it might be useful later hint hint.

eh, i don't like to nitpick, but just more details and lighting effects are good. I want to know all about the grimy walls and lone flickering bulbs set into the ceiling revealing the shambling dead moving towards us between intermittent flashes of illumination.

Hey, what's your build, how are you getting bonus damage to your guns? and dual wielding without massive penalties?

The bullet hit one of the zombies in the head makin a thin bead of blood coming out of his head as the second shot flies out of the gun into the hole leading outside side and you all heard a bang as it hits somthing.

The last last zombies continues walking. Moving and you see him lunged hitting nothing at all as he falls to the ground soaked in blood from the person on the ground. Face covered with one of the corpses arms but you can also hear a faint whimper coming from him.

The zombie on the floor that just did a lunge when it was clearly to far still to be of any use (10ft) . Has a headset on and a police officer suit.
Jack remembers that this officer was the one that sent him out to the supermarket and was the one informing him of the situation. If he tries he could remember his name is Thomas Howard and he has a wife and two kids.

She is a fast hero and she is using her dex also feats and I think she shot twice with the same gun. :smallconfused:

On top of that, I learned how to fix hot water heaters today when we had one of our hot water pipes blow. Fixed now, but needless to say, if I wasn't waiting to get called to work, this would be one of those days that I really wanted to have a drink.

To be honest, with the dming style, I'm with Doctor Glock - I really like to be able to picture the scene, and just little bits of lighting / detail go a long way.

As long as you don't have a problem with it, I can make an effort to start just putting things in myself, just how I'd see the scene. Some Dms don't mind when players add their own descriptions, some do. I figured it's better to ask first.

Thanks it toke a little time to find the correct size but one of my favorite knights.

As for the map the site sucks so there the lobby which is 20by20 desk all the way away from the door 5ft away from the wall in the center of about 10ft the 10ft to the right of that leads to the cells. when you look in from the front door peace lily to the right next to the window and the chairs to the left. The other rooms door is located about ten feet down the right wall. Inside the room its filled with slightly smaller desks and a window to the right of the door 4 desks separated by 5ft chairs separate them down the hall in the room is another door and it's just the mess hall not that big but has about a 2weeks of food. Need anymore details ask I will specify more.

I looked it up for you. You get two for being a fast person and you get a bonus for the class simple personal proficiency. Then you get one for your occupation. The rest looks like it was talents I believe.:smallwink:

As for dex to dmg I think she use her bab for it for an accident.

I'm glad you like the plan. I figure I made him to be a smart hero / craftsman - he's talented with electronics and machines, so I might as well start having him play to it.

Funny story, the whole camera / infrared seeing through clothing is an actual thing, but it doesn't go through tightly woven clothes like bras / underwear / things like that. I don't know this from personal experience, but I saw it demonstrated in a technology show.

Well, it can be rough with everyone working on the same thing - maybe we could split into smaller groups- a couple go looking for firearms, a couple go hit an electronics store or get supplies while a couple more do fortifications?

Just a thought.
Then if players want to step out for the holidays, or just disappear, their characters can remain with the group.
