Looking for a good source on all the creative ways you can use poisons? Maybe some specifics on different racial poisons or something...dont care what the source is really.

I think the main methods of applying poisons are to lace a trap with it, sneak it into someones food/drink or stab/shoot them with a weapon treated with it. That ignores creatures that use it naturally of course - you could use summon monster to bring in some creatures to poison someone badly if they can't make their saves.

Touch poisons are the most creative- poison their clothes, their curtains, really get into your victims' lives! Great for spies/shapeshifters.

Has anyone had any experience with poisons that only affect certain races? Say an "Orc Bane" poison perhaps? Only harmful to Orcs...

any of those would most likely be listed with the monster. In BoED there are not-poisons that only hurt evil I think.

I'm not really familiar with such specific poisons except for the "positoxins" that specifically affect evil outsiders that were mentioned earlier, so you'd probably be in homebrew territory for the most part. Maybe take a baseline poison and add +50% to the cost to make it affect a particular creature type from the rangers' list of favored enemies?

Book of Exalted Deeds has all the good poisons you need.

at one point I used arrows that delivered a inhaled poison , a glass vile at the end so it was a ranged touch attack.
