Hi all

I have an idea for playing a character that focuses on subdoing damage. Is their such a class if not what would be the best one for it? Monk maybe?

Warblade, and take the right feats/PrCs. There's one in Dragonmarked that excels at nonlethal damage.

Spellcaster-wise you could look into Beguiler.

Rogue that uses a sap (or two saps) as a weapon can work fine too.

Heck a Thri-keen rogue with four saps could be interesting.

Any class with the feat Subduing strike can deal nonlethal damage at no penalty.

The justiciar PrC from complete warrior is focused around dealing nonlethal damage and capturing law-breakers alive to bring back for punishment.

Unarmed strike builds can do it efficently, so swordsage and monk are both options.

A weapon enchanted with Merciful does only subdual damage, so any class that focuses on hitting things can use it.

Wizard/Incantatrix.

Just dump Non-Lethal Substitution onto your orbs of death.

The bloodhound pre literally has a class feature called "bring them back alive"
