Wizards- they, along with good Int, can have a lot of spells, but what if you don't want to specialize? There's a ton of good spells from a bunch of schools.
Abj: Dispel and mind blank- this STAYS
conj: STAYS
div:HAS TO STAY
ench: iffy, it had hold person, charm person, sleep and others.
Evoc: with contingency, great thunderclap and stuff it's actually not immediately droppable
illus: invis and stuff- plus shadow spells- STAYS
necro- false life, enervation, horrid wilting, fear spells- iffy
trans- STAYS!

Any ways to get more spells? Anything would be helpful.

have you considered Elf generalist and other ACFs?

also, there are spells (shadow conjuration and shadow evocation being the two best know) that allow other schools to be effectively used

Or have you considered alternatives to the spells that make you second-guess dropping some schools?

Not sure what you are asking for. Are you asking how to learn all of the spells you want without specialization?

Look at the Mage of the Arcane Order PrC in Complete Arcane. As you gain levels you can cast spells from a spellpool which the order provides you access to. These spells don't need to be ones you know which means you can use them in order to scribe a scroll and then scribe the spell into your spellbook. You just need to pay them back by giving them spells of the same level.

Otherwise, you need to seek out fellow wizards and buy/trade spells with them, find scrolls as loot and see if you can buy them somewhere.

Have you seen Unearthed Arcana's Domain Wizard (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#wizardVariantDomainWiz ard) variant? Essentially you gain a set bonus spell at each level from a domain at the cost of not being able to specialize (not much of a penalty).

There is also the Nightmare Spinner PRC from Complete arcane. It gives up a caster level but gets a bonus illusion spell of each level. Very light skill prereqs as well (mesh up nice with minderbender).

There are always Rings of Wizardry.

If you really wanted unlimited resources you could look at psionics because, as a system as a whole, it has several (at least one...) recharge mechanics.

Elf generalist- yeah, don't really like elves because of con penalty.
MotAO might work, does it let you take and then cast prohibited spells?

True if you start playing high levels, otherwise, in a long campaign, you have to wait.
