Is there a way to get knowledge nature to be treated as a class skill (so max ranks is level +3) without it being on you actually list of class skills?

By race, or feat, or anything. If it is by alternate class ability or the similar, must be of favoured soul (please don't tell me how bad those are)

Knowledge Devotion to the rescue!

Upon selecting this feat, you immediately add one Knowledge skill of your choice to your list of class skills. Thereafter, you treat that skill as a class skill, regardless of which class you are advancing in.

Also Education - grants you all knowledges as class skills.

Several options

Skill Knowledge (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/buildingCharacters/alternativeSkillSystems.htm#skillKnowledge) — UA/SRD
Education feat — setting specific, though since it's in four settings its quite general { Eberron Campaign Setting, Player's Guide to Faerûn, Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, Ghostwalk }
Knowledge Devotion ( Complete Champion p60) — but you need 5 ranks in any knowledge skill first
Various ACFs (http://community.wizards.com/forum/previous-editions-character-optimization/threads/1151316) — depending upon your base class(es)
Apprentice feat ( DMG II p 176)

Three settings, technically.
