Spellcasting
At every level except 1st, 4th, and 8th a Musical Assassin gains new spells per day as if they had also gained a level in a arcane spellcasting class they belonged to before adding the prestige class.

Paralyzing Song (Su)
As an additional bardic music effect a Musical Assassin with 14 or more ranks in perform can paralyze, as the condition, their foes. Each creature to be paralyzed must be within 90 feet and able to see and hear the Musical Assassin.

To use the ability, a Musical Assassin makes a Perform check. Their check result is the DC for each affected creature’s Fortitude save against the effect. If a creature’s saving throw succeeds, the Musical Assassin cannot attempt to paralyze that creature again for 24 hours. If its saving throw fails, the creature is paralyzed for a number of rounds equal to the Musical Assassin's charisma modifier.

Poison Use
Musical Assassins are trained in the use of poison and never risk accidentally poisoning themselves when applying poison to a blade.

Sneak Attack
This is exactly like the rogue ability of the same name. The extra damage dealt increases by +1d6 every other level (2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th). If an musical assassin gets a sneak attack bonus from another source the bonuses on damage stack.

Bardic Music (Su)
Starting at 2nd level a musical assassin adds their class level (not counting first level) to their bard level, if any, to determine what bardic music abilities they can use and how often they can use them. A musical assassin with no bard levels gains bardic music abilities as a bard of their class level.

Uncanny Dodge (Ex)
Starting at 2nd level, an musical assassin retains his Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) regardless of being caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. (They still loses any Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized.)

Deadly Song (Su)
A musical assassin of 3rd level or higher with 16 or more ranks in a Perform skill as an additional bardic music affect can use music or poetics to kill a single target within 30 feet. The target makes a Fortitude save with a DC of 10 + the musical assassin’s class level + the assassin’s Cha modifier. If they fail the save they die. If the succeed on their save they are dazed for one round. For every three levels a musical assassin attains beyond 3rd, they can target one additional person with a single use of this ability (two at 6th level, three at 9th).

Poison song (Su)
A musical assassin of at least 5th level with 18 or more ranks in perform can as an additional bardic music affect poison their enemies. By using poison you actually have you can attempt to poison a single target within 60 feet. The save DC for the poison is now 10 + the musical assassin’s class level + the assassin’s Cha modifier instead of what it normally is. Doing this uses up that poison. For every two levels a musical assassin attains beyond 5th, they can target one additional person with a single use of this ability (two at 7th level, three at 9th).

Hide in Plain Sight (Su)
At 7th level, a musical assassin can use the Hide skill even while being observed. As long as they are within 10 feet of some sort of shadow, an assassin can hide themselves from view in the open without having anything to actually hide behind. They cannot, however, hide in their own shadow.

Stealthy Song (Su)
A musical assassin of at least 7th level with 20 or more ranks in perform can as an additional bardic music grant a bonus on all Move Silently and Hide skill checks to themselves and any willing allies within 30-ft equal to the musical assassin's level. For this purpose bard levels stack with musical assassin levels.

Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex)
At 8th level, a musical assassin can no longer be flanked, since they can react to opponents on opposite sides of them as easily as they can react to a single attacker. This defense denies rogues the ability to use flank attacks to sneak attack the assassin. The exception to this defense is that a rogue at least four levels higher than the musical assassin can flank them (and thus sneak attack them).

If a character gains uncanny dodge (see above) from a second class the character automatically gains improved uncanny dodge, and the levels from those classes stack to determine the minimum rogue level required to flank the character.

Frightening Song (Su)
As an additional bardic music effect a Musical Assassin with 14 or more ranks in perform can frighten, as the condition, their foes. Each creature to be frighten must be within 90 feet and able to see and hear the Musical Assassin.

To use the ability, a Musical Assassin makes a Perform check. Their check result is the DC for each affected creature’s Will save against the effect. If a creature’s saving throw succeeds, the Musical Assassin cannot attempt to frighten that creature again for 24 hours. If its saving throw fails, the creature is frightened for a number of rounds equal to the Musical Assassin's charisma modifier.
If they are already frightened they instead become Panicked. This is a fear effect.

Musical Killer (Su)
Once per day, by expending 3 bardic music uses a 20th level musical assassin can kill any one target, no save.
