I was just wondering if there is an updated consolidated list of all the choices for hexes and spells for witches. Right now I'm having to search multiple sources and it makes decisions difficult.

Hexes (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/witch#TOC-Hex) and Spells (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/spell-lists-and-domains/spell-list---witch).
Glad to be of service. *doffs non-existent hat*

There is also a Android App (all official releases, lacking UM) for free.

Do you know what the policy of PF is about researching new spells? In 3.5, I could swear I read somewhere that you could select a new spell as one of your 2 per level spells as long as the DM approved.

If that was a possibility in PF, are there any guidelines or criteria for classes with more limited spell lists like witches other than "it seems witchy"? Or is this something strictly limited to wizards and sorcerers or something else entirely in PF?

There is this (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic#TOC-Research-and-Designing-Spells). Ultimate Campaign also has a large section on what, in the game creators' opinion, makes a good spell for each level and each class.

Any spellcaster can research any spell in both versions of the game. The only limit is what your DM considers to be reasonable.
