Silas enters the tavern and sits at the bar.

Ilaissa wakes up from under the table.

Huh?...ohhh my head...I feel like I just woke up from a coma...and do I smell fire?

She slowly shakes her head as she props herself up aganst the wall.

((Man, I went to sleep, and I miss the fight...I hate diffrent timezones...))

An orc like figure and a penguin ((gorgotz and george)) walk into the tavern, they sit on one of the corner booths and get drinks as they apparently wait for something or someone.

SASO leaves the tavern, after awakening from another player induced coma.

A portal opens, and Aesa comes through and sits at the bar.

Hiko follows, and sits next to Aesa. He orders his jug to be filled with sake again

Aesa summons a glass of wine and sips it, looking around. The tavern seems a bit empty.

Hiko shrugs. Less people to complain... But also less people to chuck things at.

[AmberVael]

Aesa nods and frowns. I was not thinking of throwing things today though.

Hiko sighs. Were you expecting someone?

[AmberVael]

Aesa gives him an odd look. No. Why do you ask?

[Romulus]

Romulus enters the tavern, folding his wings against his back as he does so. He sits at the bar.

Hello Romulus. How is the guild doing? Has it fallen apart without me? Aesa smirks and sips her wine.

[Romulus]

Romulus looks down and notices the badge. He removes it and sets it on the bar.

"Who knows? I haven't been there in weeks. And frankly, who cares?"

[AmberVael]

Not me. Gemini is too high and mighty, not to mention to chaste, for my liking. Aesa grins at Hiko, then looks back at Romulus.

[Romulus]

"I kinda got that feeling. Guess I'm just back to being unemployed."

[AmberVael]

I suppose so. Aesa considers putting a Geas on Romulus to make him be her servant.

[DarkHunter]

A tall, blond elf in mithril elven chain with a very strange looking rapier enters the bar and looks around. He doesn't seem to see who he was looking for, and saunters up to the bar for a drink.

[Romulus]

Romulus orders a beer, while his player debates on what he'd do in that situation.

[darnin]

Darnin awakes from a player induced coma, and promptly orders some beer at the bar.

[AmberVael]

Aesa immediately shifts her gaze to the elf, grinning.

[Romulus]

Romulus' player shrugs.

Hiko shrugs, taking a swig of his sake

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

The door opens and El Jaspero enters, holding Kint's hand. They wave to the crowd and take a seat at a corner table to wait for Alarra and Ala.

The elf looks over at Aesa and looks at her a moment, then turns back to his drink with a nod.

[Alarra]

Alarra and Ala follow in close behind and sit at the table as well.
Can we get Velvet Elfish? And Bamhacon? and Gyros?
And llamanade?
"Wow...I guess you are hungry."
Alarra looks at El J to see what he thinks of the proposed menu.

[Eldoran]

Eldoran walks into the tavern and makes his way over to the bar "Cormyrian Fireamber please." he takes the drink and watches the other patrons in the tavern

Aesa raises an eyebrow. A nod? Thats all I get? One moment, Hiko. She stands and walks over to the elf, slipping her magic rod out.

Hiko watches, a grin playing his lips

The ljósálfar looks at Aesa

What do you seek with your rod, fate-daughter? We heard of your presence here and came prepared. It is well to know your name and appearance, though.

[AmberVael]

Aesa glares at him. You KNOW me and yet you did not accord me the respect I deserve? Her hand tightens around her rod. Maybe I should show you how to cower?

Darnin orders a steak and some more beer.

He looks at Aesa

I knew your heritage, and I know that you are not the fate of the elves. You have no power over my fate, and you will be rather disappointed in the results of your seid.

He pulls at the chain around his neck, bringing out an ancient looking piece of ivory. The runes "All-Father" and "Forbid" are clearly visible on the side facing out.

We aren't here to deal with you, so we choose not to. Go back to your amusements with these others.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smirks at him. You think Odin frightens me? Even Odin has no power over the fates. I hold his LIFE in my hands... he'd think twice before resisting me...

[DarkHunter]

The elf shakes his head again

I do not think he frightens you, else you would not pursue his children. No, this charm is purely defensive, as you well know.

He tucks it back into his shirt.

If it makes you feel any better, you were considered the most dangerous person we might encounter while here.

Hiko groans. Damn... So much for a quite evening...

[Ceika]

*Ceika walks into the tavern and heads for the bar without looking too much around her. She gets a rum and downs it quickly, then gets a second mug to take back to the table with her, leaving the coins on the counter. She takes a seat at an unoccupied table and surveys the tavern, sipping slowly on her drink.*

[AmberVael]

And so you nod at me? Thats all? Grovel, dog. Aesa points her rod at him.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian enters, and looks around. He sees Ceika, sitting alone, yet knows that no good will come to him if he even dares walk over to her. He sees his parents with Ala and Kint, and smiles slightly.

[DarkHunter]

The elf shrugs and grins for a moment, then stands up and bows with a flourish.

That's really not my style. I'm surprised that for one who is supposed to be fixing the disruptions of fate caused by Odin and his children, you would not recognize our purpose here. But as you let your temper overrule your duty, I will take my leave.

He vanishes, tracing his teleport shows a location on Vidblain

[Eldoran]

Eldoran looks at Ceika briefly and frowns, not knowing if he's seen her before ((because I can't remember if they've met...)). He shrugs and turns back to his drink and watches the entertainment.

[Alarra]

Alarra waves a hello to Ceika.

[AmberVael]

Aesa scowls, tempted to scry him and throw a spell at him. I'll make him squeal like a pig if I see him again.

[Ceika]

*Ceika ignores Kyrian, and nods to Alarra with a smile. Glancing at the man in red, she nods again, but with a far more solemn expression.*

Kyrian steps up to the bar and sits.

Rum, Cosmo, and don't stop bringing them 'til I say.

Hiko sighs, bored. He expresses this by yelling in a very Belkar-esque fashion, BORED!

((Ceika might at least note that Alarra is sitting next to El Jaspero. With two young elves, but heck...whatever.))

El J heartily approves of the planned dinner, and orders it straightaway, then waves to Ceika. "Ahoy, Captain! How fares the boat?"

Ekrath walks in and takes a seat. He take out a notebook and flips through it with a sign

He tosses it down and orders a wine

Eldoran nods in the same way back at Ceika, then notices Kyrian "Lo Kyrian"

Kyrian gives a half-assed wave to Eldoran and downs the first rum Cosmo sets in front of him.

Aesa glances back at Hiko and a sword of force appears out of nowhere and starts jabbing at him repeatedly.

Hiko drops out of his seat to avoid the blade. Jeeze, no one can make refrences anymore. Hiko looks over Ekrath from the floor. I can.

Eldoran gives Kyrian a look saying "What's eating you today?" then turns back yet again to his drink.

You said you were bored. I thought I'd help. The sword sweeps towards his head, trying to give him a haircut.

Hiko ducks under the blade. Yeah, yeah...

((D'oh! Sorry, Jas... I, uh... was distracted by Kyrian's entrance?))

*Ceika grins and raises her glass toward the Pirate King* Ahoy, my king. The ship, she's well. Had to pull a few strings to crew'er though. The first of the men should be getting here in a few days. Hopefully, the last of them will be here shortly thereafter... I'd like to get her under sail before too long. Who are the whelps? *She gestures at the elven kids, her tone kind, almost joking*

Aesa chuckles and the sword turns into a hand that swats at Hiko repeatedly.

Eldoran glances briefly at Ekrath "Nope, not over here mate." he finishes his wine and gets another

Cosmo brings over the tray of food and Alarra, after looking at it a moment, orders a salad too.

Kint and Ala both dive into the gyros first and wind up fighting over the tetziki sauce, as usual.

El Jaspero smiles broadly with a wink. "Well the first youngster here is Alarra. As you may have heard we were married a few months back."

He nudges the kids and they stand up to take their bow and curtsey. "These two fine young elves are Kint and Ala. Kids, this is Captain Ceiblayde, a very old friend of mine."

Groaning, Ekrath uses his earings of teleportation to poof out.

Kyrian sighs and gets up. He takes a rum and leaves.

Hiko runs out of the reach or the hand. Since when is Bigby's Slapping Hand a spell?

Since I invented it. Stay still. Aesa grins at him and begins to try and chase Hiko around in circles with the hand.

*Grinning, Ceika rises and walks over to their table, embracing Alarra first, then El Jaspero (provided neither one protest too loudly). She rubs her chin, as if trying to remember something* Yeah... I think I heard something like that... But truly, how did a rascal like you end up with suh a beautiful lady? It boggles the mind. As for the whelps... well, they're very formal, it seems... really should break them of that. No need to be bowing to me, pups. *She ruffles their hair playfully* And honestly... I'm not that old...

Hiko keeps running. Why?

Lykan enters the bar. 'lo everyone.

*Ceika turns her attention away from El J and Alarra briefly, to greet Lykan.*

*Her tone is a bit hard to decipher.*

Lykan bites his lip and turns to Ceika

Umm... Hi, Aly...

Eldoran tilts his head slightly at Lykan and then shrugs

*Ceika forces a smile at Lykan, and responds with a bit of a shrug.*

Call me Ceika? Can't really say I'm not Aly... but I'd rather not use that name. If you don't mind.

Because it'll be fun, trust me. Aesa laughs and sends another hand coming at him from the opposite direction.

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

El J grins at Ceika then nods so the kids can resume eating. "I suppose that's true, she was just a pup herself when we met." He eyes her carefully. "You'd hardly have recognized her, in fact."

His gaze turns to Alarra and he smiles warmly. "As for us...who can say? I always lucky you know, I just never knew to what extent."

[Lykan]

Lykan grins

Okay, Ceika.

He sits down at a nearby table

Have you... Umm... Recovered?

[darnin]

Darnin looks at the people who have entered with mild interest, before sitting up straighter in the barstool and ordering another beer.

Hiko ducks under the other hand and takes refuge under a table.

Aesa chuckles and summons a circular wall of force around the table, melding the hands into it.

[Ceika]

*Ceika turns to El J with a grin.*

Yeah, that's probably true. I'm just glad I had the guidance I did... else, well, I'm sure things would have ended differently in m story. And as long as I've known you, Jas, you make your own luck.

*She looks back at Lykan, one hand rubbing her head in memory of their earlier encounter* Yeah, Wolfy, I'm back. It's me. Do me one favor, though? Whatever that was that you did to my head? Don't do it again? Hurt like a devil... *Her somewhat pleading smile seems less forced and more friendly.*

[Lykan]

Lykan looks at the ground.

Sorry... I just was trying to fix it.

He looks up again, with a look of embarrasment on his face

Looks like I screwed that up quite nicely.

Hiko tries to push the table up, hopefully enough to leave a gap for him to squeeze out of.

[Alarra]

Alarra smiles and places her hand on El J's, "No, I'm the lucky one."

Kint gives a long sigh to Ala and rolls his eyes, They're always so mushy..
Can we wrap the rest of the bamhacon up for the new cat?

[Ceika]

*She chuckles, then walks over and gives him a hug.* Nah... it's ok... at least you didn't try to blow me up. I mean, that probably would have made me less crazy... more scattered though... *She teases him, trying to make him smile.*

The table just barely gets over the wall of force before it contracts around Hiko, turning into a hand. Aesa giggles.

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

"Yes, of course. Be sure to fill her water dish while you're at it."

El Jaspero turns to Alarra and is, for the moment, utterly lost in her eyes. "If you're the lucky one...that makes be blessed, entirely blessed. More than I ever deserved, more than anyone could."

[Lykan]

Lykan sighs, but grins nontheless

Hey, I'm very discreet when it comes to blowing things up. Only people I don't like... And bars.

He pauses.

He looks back at her and smiles

Hiko growls, though he seems to smiling as he tries to struggle free. Let me go, witch!

Aesa smirks, amused, and turns into a haggard old crone with a long nose that has a far too large wart on it. She cackles at Hiko. Not until you can solve my riddle, boy.

*She nods* Believe me, it's good to be... back... Aly's who I used to be. A long time ago. It's kinda complicated... But it's definately good to have my mind back.

*she yawns* But I best be heading back to my ship... have some things to finish up before tomorrow. Good to see you again, Wolfman. *she pats Lykan on the shoulder, downs the rest of her mug, then gives Alarra and El Jaspero another hug before heading out the door.*

Hiko chuckles. Ah yes... Taking something metaphorically, realistically. He tries to struggle out again. Fine, fine... What's the riddle?

Lykan waves to Ceika as she leaves

He orders a drink for himself and downs it, leaning back in his chair

The 'crone' pauses, then scowls. Damnit, let me think of one. This might be a moment.

[Alarra]

Alarra smiles and stares into El J's eyes and is surprised to find that with as long as she's been with this pirate he can still make her blush.

"Ugh, we're going home."

"Mm hmm...umm...don't track in....snow."

The kids pack up their bamhacon and leave giggling with Alarra and El J barely noticing.

Hiko rolls his eyes. Take your time.

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

El J waves somewhere in the direction of the kids, his eye still locked on Alarra. "You kids have fun storming the castle..."

Aesa suddenly chuckles and then cackles in an evil hag voice.
Claws like a cat,
Crooked as a snake's hiss.
Patch together your guesses,
You won't guess this.

[Alarra]

Alarra and El J get up and leave a few minutes later, waving a slight goodbye to the tavern at large.

Hiko shrugs. A ferret?

Eldoran finishes his drink and puts the glass on the bar top. He walks torwards the exit of the tavern, but stopping momentarily on the way at Lykan's table. He turns to Lykan "You may be needed when Hawkeye and Wukei turn up" he continues on and exits the tavern

Aesa cackles and slowly changes in her usual laugh as she shifts back to normal. Hardly. I'd turn you into a ferret for that, but thats a bit boring now. So what should I do with you, hm?

Hiko shrugs. Tell me what the answer is and let me go? He gives her a faux hopeful smile

Aesa laughs harder, then sits at the bar as she keeps laughing.

Aesa sips her wine as she thinks, watching him struggle to get his jug.

Somehow, despite the temperature inside, the sake is frozen in the jug. Aesa chuckles to herself as she sips her wine.

Hiko lightens up a bit, putting his jug down on the table. He struggles a bit more, trying to wriggle free of the hand

The hand vanishes, and is replaced by Aesa's arms around him. She grins at Hiko, her yellow eyes watching his every move.

Aesa summons a collar and leash that matches Hiko's clothing. She holds it in front of him and shakes it. Now I'm going to put this on you, so don't move. With a grin she adjusts the collar and tries to put it around his neck.

The mutt enters Trog's and thinks about ordering a whiskey. But decieds against it. He goes and lays down by the fire going to sleep.

Alex smiles and orders a bamhacon from Cosmo and pays when it arrives. Between mouthfulls, to Alena "Where do you want to go today?"

The mutt wakes up and looks around. He figures he should continue to lay down for awhile, since he has a pounding headache.

Kyrian orders a hot chocolate. It arrives and Kyrian pays Cosmo, before handing the drink over to Lillah.

Lillah smiles and then turns her head as if she heard something.

Kyrian wraps his arms around Lillah's waist and holds her close, kissing both her neck and cheek.

Castaras takes a long swig, then walks out.

Boredom overtakes Darnin, and he stands up and heads outside.

Aesa comes into the tavern through a portal, smirking and flicking her black wings behind her. She gets a glass of wine and watches the near empty taveren, hoping someone will come in.

Lillah hears the rustle of winds and looks up.

[Timberwolf]

A freshly scrubbed and almost decharcoaled Nightstar emerges from the ladies and heads determinedly for the bar as fast as her little legs will carry her.

Aesa looks between Nightstar and Lillah, wondering who would be more interesting...

[McBish]

Lillah turns her head again as if she hears something no one else can hear.

[Timberwolf]

Nightstar hops on to her bar rail and peers over the top of the bar. Nina looks down at her and asks "Are you human ?"

"Indeed I am. I'm also 23. Dragon's Fire Breath please."

She looks round, a tiny bit of soot on the end of her nose.

"Anyone else fancy a drink ?"

A drink? Depends on what you are offering... Aesa thinks about how she can make this interesting, then grins. Just as long as it is not one of those puny drinks that pretend to be strong but aren't I think I'd be fine with one.

Lillah turns to Nightstar. Um no thank you.

"No worries Lillah."

She turns to Aesa

"I've never had one because alchohol and me don't mix but would a Rampaging Rail Mixer sound about right ?"

You think alcohol makes a drink strong? Honey, you need to get out more. Aesa smiles sweetly at her.

"I'm not sure but I think I managed to upset a demon. And a tentacled monster. That's unusual, even for me. I don't usually run into tentacled things"

Well, I think I need to go do something. Kyrian asks if she needs help and she shakes her head. I'll see you at home. She stands up and heads out the door.

Aesa smirks and moves to join Nightstar. Pure alcohol is for the brutes who have no taste. The glass of wine in Aesa's hand is oddly dark, and a bit more red than most wines are.

"Fair enough. I decided after that night that enough's enough, I've quit drinking. After a 4 year stint of planar wandering looking for a Gin and Tonic, I've realised I don't actually like alchohol at all. Kind of makes me sad the amount of time I wasted getting thrown out of bars."

She chugs the Dragon's Fire Breath and orders another, looking in her handbag for some gold and fiddling with something at the bottom of it.

Aesa chuckles. Oh there are many better things than alcohol. She draws a small vial from a belt pouch and puts it next to her drink.

[Timberwolf]

"Now that I don't doubt at all." Nightstar grins. "All the same, I like my conciousness straight. In my time, I've been introduced to some harsh harsh stuff and I can't say I liked it myself. I wish I wasn't so small and could take more than 1 drink before shooting my mouth off to the biggest bruiser in the bar or taking offence when someone calls me cute. Stuff just affects me more than anyone else. Magic doesn't strangely, hardly at all in fact but stimulants and alchohol and pharmaceuticals just knock me for 6"

She finishes her Dragon's Fire Breath and scoots the glass over to Nina.

Hmm... you get tired of that? How much does it happen? Aesa watches her like a hawk.

[Timberwolf]

"Now, not at all, but I've known some real abusive idiots in my time. I used to be an assassin, quite a good one if I do say so and my mentor used to control me with mind altering drugs. He altered me when I was a baby to make me easier to control. Got myself off them without him realising and put 4 bullets in his head and a sword between his ribs and went freelance. I stopped that 4 years ago and went planar wandering owing to a small difference of opinion about a hit I was meant to do."

Interesting... do you have any luck getting jobs around here?

[Timberwolf]

"No, but I don't want any. I'm retired, reformed and no longer happily slaughtering people in the name of profit. I have enough saving sto live out the rest of my life wherever I like because before the "difference of opinion", I was moderately in demand."

Nightstar looks at Aesa, wondering what the heck is in that evil looking phial.

[McBish]

The mutt comes in through the mirror and orders some bamhacon.

Aesa nods, looking slightly disappointed. She empties the entire vial into her glass of wine and sips the concoction.

[Timberwolf]

"So what about you, what do you do around here ?"

Nightstar relaxes slightly and orders another drink.

[McBish]

The mutt gets a plate of Bamhacon and starts to eat.

Well, I was the right hand in a mercenary guild, but I was thrown out for repeatedly insulting the guild master to his face. Aesa smirks and sips her wine. I think the final straw was when I told him that the only reason he held chastity as a virtue was because he couldn't get any.

[Timberwolf]

Nightstar giggles and looks up at Aesa

"Nice. I like that. I'm a bit short to be the mercenary type but I'll remember that one. Who was this fella ? I might have met him, ahem, professionally."

[AmberVael]

He is an arrogant god by the name of Gemini. He's around town, actually, and I should be fighting a duel with him soon... Aesa shakes her head.

[Timberwolf]

"Nope, not met him yet. A god you say ?" She downs the DFB. "This duel about getting kicked out of the guild ? Reckon you can take him ?"

[darnin]

Darnin walks in, sits at the bar, and grabs a beer.

Aesa splutters. No, its about him not taking me seriously, and I'm going to murder the poor fool. He may be a god, but he knows nothing about strategy and spell choice.

[McBish]

The mutt finishes his Bamhacon and goes and lays down by the fire.

[Timberwolf]

"Sounds like you've got this covered then. What did he do to you if you don't mind me asking ? Feel free not to answer, I'm just nosy. And aren't gods immortal or something ?"

[AmberVael]

He's just always been a presumptious, self-righteous bastard. It got on my nerves after a while, so... we're going to fight over it. They're immortal, yes, but can still die of unnatural causes.

[Timberwolf]

"I assume you've got a nice unnatural cause lined up for him then. I'm no expert on magic so I won't guess. I'm better at stabbing, shooting and a few other things. What's with all the gods round here anyway, am I the only mortal around here or something ?"

[AmberVael]

No. I know my lover is one... and I have met a few others. Mortals do seem to be a rather small percentage of the populace though. Aesa smirks.

[Timberwolf]

"Why do I get the feeling you're not a mortal either ?"

Nightstar leans back against the bar

"How many gods are there round here then ?"

[AmberVael]

I'm not, and there are enough to be damned annoying. Stupid, arrogant gods... Aesa downs the rest of her wine.

[Timberwolf]

"The only one I've run into personally was that Inari one who decided that she was going to spoil my big entrance to a melee by taking out of existance my hand grenades."

Nightstar pouts

"Probably as well she did because I forgot we were trying to stop someone from being killed. Anyway, that's beside the point. You sound like you have a grudge against more than this Gemini. What's he the god of anyway ?"

Destro pops into existence. Hello. Something very strange is going on with his lack of a soul, for anyone who can tell that sort of thing. Not to mention the amount of Necromantic energy he seems to have following him around.

I have no idea, and I really do not care. He does not act like a god as it is, and they get little enough respect from me anyways. Aesa glances at Destro. Hello there.

Darnin glances over at Destro, thinking this odd even from town standards.

"Hmm, well, good luck with that duel, I must be going, thanks for the company."

Nightstar heads for the door

So, how's life? The lack of soul starts fluctuating between existing and not existing.

Obviously tentative for you, but for me? Enjoyable. Aesa watches his soul fluctuate with fascination.

That's always good. My unlife has also been quite enjoyable recently. Destro levitates a DLB over from the bar, but it crashes to the ground halfway there. He frowns at it and then simply orders one to replace it.

Whats up with your soul, by the way? Aesa eyes it with a valkyrie's professional interest.

My soul? Destro glances down at his arm and his eyes glow green for a second. Well now. That is highly unusual... The soul suddenly starts being there, and the green glow fades. It snaps back on as soon as the soul is gone again.
