Gamer Plates

So, I live in a state that has more personalized license plates than most. You can't go thirty seconds down a busy road without spotting something clever. It's often amazing what people can do with seven characters.

A few months ago I spotted the following at a local library:


D20CRIT

Now, this sings to my gamer's soul. I doubt if one person in ten thousand would get it.

So, has anyone else spotted gamer plates in their town? I'd love to know what's out there.

I spotted a "FLAMMIE" plate a while back, pretty sure that was a reference to the "of Mana" series(Secret of, heroes of, Legend of, etc)

I'm not sure whether or not a DD10 SOR is allowed to be a coincidence. Why you would play a sorcerer with 10 dragon disciple levels is beyond me, though.

That looks like it is probably a coincidence. There's a lot of sets of letters that could trigger gamer pareidolia, and it's not obvious enough that it can be discounted (whereas D20CRIT and ROLL A 1 are much less likely to have been assigned randomly).

While not gamer based I have seen one Wheel of Time based licence plate (at least I thought it was), BOTRH1 (Band of the Red Hand 1). Made me smile as I had just finished reading the chapter in The Shadow Rising where the basis of TBotRH joins Mat after the battle against the Shaido outside Cairhien.

I haven't seen it but I've been tempted several times to see if "IMA NPC" is available in my area.

Not really game related, but three plates I have personally seen:

CAPSLOW: Seen on a blue Fiat 500.
STHLRD: Seen on a Honda Accord.

And the worst one ever, and one I really wanted to follow to see who the heck it was and why they would do such a thing:

OUTATME: Seen on a Nissan 240 SX.

Although, I am tempted by the thought of putting CNTRACD on a car someday. Or Getting a drak blue Chevy Sonic and getting a license plate that says TARDIS, SCRDRVR or maybe ALLONSY, just to confuse people who don't know the Doctor...
