Could it make sense Playing a Paladin of Slaughter or Tyrany who whorships the silver flame.
You know a Paladin who wholy belives in the Churches mission of purging Evil from the land at all costs? Any Means are justified if the mission is pure. You know like the Purge? Could you make this Character concept work?

As you get smite good, this class wouldn't really be a great "purger of evil" tbh. You would need some other class to represent the inner struggle. I would suggest a LE cleric with channel negative energy and to abduct Channel Smite (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/channel-smite-combat) from Pathfinder or use Smiting Spell: Inflict x Wounds (http://dndtools.eu/feats/players-handbook-ii--80/smiting-spell--2653/) Spells or Spell Storing Weapons.

This gives you the choice if you find "THAT HERETIC" over there to be punished or not.

Not strictly as written, no. Attempting to pursue Good ends through Evil means has a willful element of Good that would force them to fall.

I don't think I've ever encountered a class with built-in elements that embrace that iconic character archetype - a ruthless inquisitor dedicated to exterminating Evil creatures by any means. Gray Guard barely even skims the surface of that.

You mean like this one? (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/inquisitor) :P

Seriously, though: In Eberron, you're not required to be of the same alignment as your god. Actually, the inquisitor would be pretty great, because you still get Detect Alignment, and you're very good a tracking down foes. For 3.5 only, you might consider Crusader for a less religiously-aligned crunch.

a ruthless inquisitor .

This reminds me: PF Inquisitor (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advanced/baseClasses/inquisitor.html) with its archetypes from Ultimate Combat (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateCombat/classArchetypes/inquisitor.html) and Ultimate Magic (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateMagic/classArchetypes/inquisitor.html). They're basically clerical bards with a grudge against evil-doers (they can add bane to their weapon with a swift action as well as several boni). I would recommend the archetype of infiltrator as he can misdirect another alignment, has excellent Bluff and Diplomacy-Rolls and can use spells that don't match his alignment (Align Weapon (Good) comes to mind). They can also evade interrogation by common divine spells.

Shadowbane Inquisitor/Gray Guard combo are pretty resistant to fall
Add in feat "Heretic of the Faith", take level in Blackguard and play as a formerly good character, driven to villainy; mad fanatic, who doesn't understand what's he do
