First Avatar Attempt.

Okay, inspired by DoIhaveaname?'s thread, I downloaded Inkscape, messed around, then did this. Took a few hours.

I'm looking for tips really.

It seems that every single time something like this happens, I say, you need thicker lines. Aside from that, it's actually pretty good. The sword looks like it's just one hunk of iron, so you should really give it a handle.

Ah, new people. Set your line thickness to 2PTS. (fill and strock tab). My Avie's lines are thin, because It's a shrunk image.

The outline of his face and ears shuold be a tad darker. kind of like mine.
