Alternate Class Feature for Warlock Crafting?

At 12th level Warlock's get the ability to "fake" a spell for the purpose of meeting the spell prerequisite for crafting magic items.

What would be some examples of good alternative class features to take instead of that? I don't think there is anything official, so this is more in your opinion what would be about the same power level/effectiveness?

That's a really powerful ability, so I'd only trade it away for something really good and/or flavorful.

One extra invocation known of each level might be worth it, or gaining one floating invocation slot that can be selected each day.

A summon-type spell would be good too - like a combination of the shadowdancers' shadow and hexblade's dark companion. A beefed up shadow with an aura would be flavorful and useful.
