I am trying to remember a feat but no idea what it is or what book it is in. all I remember it helps a druid who is multi classing by adding druid levels of x up to it's HD. any one have any idea what this is?

I can't think of anything that applies that bonus in general, but practiced spellcaster (CArc, 82) will do it for caster level, and natural bond (CAdv, 111) will do it for your animal companion.

You definetly mean Natural Bond, as mentioned above

Complete Adventure. Adds +3 to your effective Druid level for your Animal Companion (but it can't make your effective Druid Level exceed your Character Level)
