Bloodstorm Blade Question

Ok in a game I am going to be running my player wants to use Bloodstorm Blade PrC with his Urgosh but I believe you need the item to be a thrown weapon to use that PrC on it. Or at the very least have the Thrown Enhancement on it. He is arguing that the PrC allows him to throw anything.

So... which is correct?

At first level, he gets the Throw Anything feat.

Bloodstorm Blade gives you the Throw Anything feat

You can throw any weapon you are proficient with, range increment 10'.

Ah ok the feat I saw really didn't say much about the distance. Alright. I will recommend him getting Distance if he wants to get any real range.
