I was wondering about how some of you word the triggering effects of the contingency spell. Does your DM require proper grammar during the use of the spell? Post your optimized, intruiging, and/or silly word choice for the Contingency spell here.

The spell conditions "must be clear, although they can be general", however there's no word limit (unlike spells such as Sending) so it's pretty easy to make it do exactly what you want. When a Wizard first gets Contingency at level 11, you can only make it apply to level 3 spells. Therefore here's a reasonable Contingency choice and wording:

"If I or an teammate within 10 feet of me is attacked in combat or possessed/charmed, or if I speak the command word 'abracadabra', then cast 'Circle of Protection: Evil' on me."

Yeah, "if I speak the word" is useful, as is "if I cast featherfall." Immediate actions to cast spells are a damn good thing.
