Is there a german word that sounds like "locked"? I need it for a groan inducing/incredibly lame pun.

There's "gelocht", which means punched or perforated, like a piece of paper for a three-ring binder.

How about:

1:Quickly, open the door!
2:Ich bin lockt.

*Grin with upper teeth into lower lip*

EDIT: I'm a terrible person.

I dunno, I'd rate that pun at about 4 cakes, tops. Not very evil yet, you're only at 10% of true terribleness. :smalltongue:

There is "lockt", as in "she/he allures/baits".

Or "gelockt", which means "curled". (but only in reference to hair)

It could also be the participe of "locken", the verb.

Theres also "Locken", as in curls.

Short answer: kocht and gekocht are options. They mean "(she/he/it) cooks" and "cooked" (both as a past tense verb and as an adjective) respectively.

The long answer involves explaining how to conjugate German verbs and is probably boring, especially if you already know.

Well, as the other Germans pointed out, "lockt" from "locken" (to bait) is what first came to mind... Or "gelockt" which means "curled". But that's about it for homophones, I think. Rhymes obviously would be more plentiful.
