Energy drain and enervation cannot cause you to lose levels, so I assume you mean the monster ability. Yes, if you fail a save against permanent level loss, you lose essentially everything you gained from that level: hit points, skill points, skill caps, feat(s), class features, caster level, spells known (unless a spellbook caster), spells per day, familiar/animal companion/mount advancement, powers known, power points, maneuvers known/granted/readied, HD count, and so on.
