If someone wanted to play as a Bard without Bardic Music what would you consider replacing it with?

Or maybe +1 spell/level/day and the marshal's auras.

Bonus Feat at levels 1, 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20. The bonus feat must be drawn from the Fighter List, Metamagic Feats, or feats which use one of the Bard's class skills.

If you are in Pathfinder, Psionics Augmented from Dreamscarred Press has the Thoughtsinger Archetype. It has similar bonuses, but a psionic/telepathic focus instead of traditional singing/performing.
