Starting a new game and I plan on trying something new. I plan to make a shield bashing fighter. The question I have is if I use a shield as a primary weapon do I add Str to dmg and is it possible to 2H wield it and apply 1.5 Str?

Bieng able to do that it would be safe to assume I couple apply Str to dmg and power attack?

Yes? I'm not sure what you mean, but if you mean can you apply the 2 handed bonus to Str and Power Attack, then yes.
