I would very much like to get my hands on the dragon magazine for 3.5, but I can't seem to even find a paid only archive....can somebody point me towards a place where I can read it?

I believe that Dragon Magazine was fully 3.5 from issue #310 to issue #359 (in print, anyway; Dragon continued online after that, and there may have been some online 3.5 "issues"), with some 3.5 content starting to appear in the issues preceding #310.

3.0 content began circa Dragon Magazine #274.

There are several file-sharing sites that provide you all the Dragon magazines you need, google is your friend :)

I'm fairly certain that there was at least one online issue of Dragon with 3.5 content (I've seen references to Graz'zt's Demonomicon of Iggwilv entry contained therein), though I didn't have access at the time (or now), so I don't know for sure.
