Swordsage Moonrats

Has anyone else tried the idea of slapping a few swordsage levels onto Moonrats (mmII) to add a bit more oompf to them?

I have not. Where did the idea come from? Do the rats lose their ninja powers when it is not a full moon?

The weirdest thing you can do is give them all Counter Charge

Having a crusader or warblade rat to lead the swarm with Leading the Charge and Leading the Attack would be an idea too.

well the entry says that the effects of thier increased intelligence is up to the DM, so I thought how can I make them more intimidating? then it hit me since they'll nearly always have at least 3 INT the minimum for class levels except for the New Moon when they lose access to the class features. That and I was a big ninja turtles fan.
