Is there any way to negate wild magic effects, such as from a wild magic zone like there is with dead magic zones and AMFs?

I Googled, but zhe Googlez do nozzink!

I'm really sorry that I don't have any real info for you Rubik I just had to say that your comment made me literally laugh out loud and get some strange looks from some nurses that just walked past me

Does Wild Mage do anything for this?

According to a side-bar wild mages roll twice and pick their result on the wild magic table.

Would an acorn of far travel work for wild magic zones? How about a planar bubble? Do you really need to be a planar shepherd (or an illithid savant who's eaten a planar shepherd; good luck with that) to avoid wild magic effects?

Iirc the vest of steadfast spellcasting might help.

Iirc the vest of steadfast spellcasting might help.Oh, yes. Perfect. 25,000 gp to ignore all planar traits but dead magic, pg 84 in the Planar Handbook.

Excellent.

Any others?

Shadow Weave magic used to function normally in wild magic zones (see e.g. FRCS p. 57 or Magic of Faerun p. 10), though thanks to the erratic updates in other Forgotten Realms books I'm not sure if it still does so.

Pretty sure it still does.

For normal Weave users, an area Dispel Magic will suppress a Wild Magic zone (or portion thereof) within its area for 1d4 minutes, Greater Dispel Magic will do so for 1d4*10 minutes, and Wish or Miracle will permanently clear a 30 foot radius.
