Ok folks of the playground,
I enjoy theory crafting character concepts and I want to try making a crafter with an alchemy focus. He will be a human artificer with the following stats 14,18,14,16,14,18 can be arranged any way needed. I have seen the alchemist savant and the master alchemist and I think going artificer 8/master alchemist 10/artificer 2 would be my best bet. However I can be any class needed to be a better alchemist.

There are quite a few feats form AEG Feat book that make potions super powered so I might include them as well.

Any help would be....well helpful.

You could do something like Artificer 5/Alchemist Savant 5/Master Alchemist 10. Alchemist Savant is in Magic of Eberron. A lot of people don't like it, but it's not terrible.

There's also the Barber class from dragon magazine. Google "chet erez" and then look under "prestige classes". It gives a big list, some classes might be better suited than others. Ctrl+F will help you find the sources that you might be looking for.

EDIT:What is AEG? Also, what is ACF?

also as a side concept, what does everyone think of a halfling thrower acf rogue with craft alchemy who throws things for sneak attack plus lots of rider effects?

AEG = Alderac Entertainment Group, a 3rd party developer.

ACF = Alternate Class Feature

Thread necromancy refers to threads older than 45 days so I'm well within the rules.

Do you need the prereqs, the table, description, or something else?

Skills: Alchemy 10 ranks, Spellcraft 10 ranks.
Feats: Brew Potion, Magical Artisan (potions), Skill Focus (Alchemy).
Spellcasting: Ability to cast 4th-level arcane or divine spells.

Those are the requirements.
