How important is getting a +5 inherent INT bonus?

I'm assuming you'd pay near full price for the wishes/tome, since if you can safely grab them early - via Planar Binding or using a Candle to get Efreet, for example - then obviously as soon as possible. But is it worth prioritizing over metamagic rods/extra spells/other fun toys?

Does the answer change if you've got Unseen Seer levels and grabbed Divine Insight (5 + CL to one skill check, max CL = 10)?

It depends on lots of factors.

What are your ability scores before inherent boosts? What is your play style? What is your level? What is your specific build? etc.

Let's assume a human wizard, starting at level 4 and ending at level 20.

Build is Rogue 1/Diviner 5 with spontaneous divination/Unseen seer 2/Arcane Trickster 4/ Unseen seer 8.

Starting scores of
Str: 10
Dex: 15
Con: 14
Int: 17
Wis: 10
Cha: 9
(This works out to a 32 PB)

Play style can vary quite a bit, so let's do it by play-style. Given the below scenarios, how important would the inherent bonuses be in them:

Primarily Combat
In the primarily combat scenario, the campaign revolves around fighting creatures. It could be to take their shinies, to save the world against invasion, being the invaders, etc. There might be some exploration and social aspects, but these are limited.

Primarily Social
In the primarily social scenario, the campaign revolves around intrigue. There might be some exploration and combat aspects, but these are limited and might be frowned on (combat, at least).

Mixed
In the mixed scenario, the campaign has a relatively equal mixture of 2-3 primary elements and possible secondary elements. So it could be an equal mix of combat, social, and exploration, or heavier on the combat and social aspects, with some minor exploration elements (so maybe 45/45/10 split).
