Witch Spell access, help!

My character is a Winter Witch, Winter Witch( both the Archetype and prestige) and i gain access to Wall of Ice at level 3 from Hyperboreal Patronage, does that mean that it is a level 2 spell for this character, or is it that its just on my list at level 3 so i can cast scrolls of it and such without a check?

If means that you can choose to learn the spell when you gain your third level of the Winter Witch prestige class. It's still a 4th level spell.

There's some confusion because when Pathfinder says "class level" in reference to a class ability, it really means "levels in this class".

thanks, i am making this char auto 12 and forgot i have to have 5lvls witch before taking it, so level 8 when i get that.
