Here we go again. If there are any threads for posting problems with art-programs, please tell me, i feel like a spammer :smallconfused:

Anyways, there's som kind of... bug? In Adobe Illustrator, here's how it goes:

*makes illustration with text*
*save*
"AN unknown error has occured"
*tries again*
"Can't save illustration"

"Meh, I'll just make text when I'm done with the rest of the picture.
*clicks on something else to do something else*
*alot of stupid errors and whatnot, illustration turns black*

Eh?

Reinstall it. If you have a "repair" option when reinstalling that would be a good idea.

Eh, i might have a *slight* problem...

When i try to uninstall/repair it says that Adobe Illustrator is running, and that i will need to close it before continuing.

Adobe Illustrator is NOT running though..

Restart your computer then, or log off all computer accounts.

Didn't help :smallfrown:

So I'll just stick with avatars, no text.

I'm surprised re-installation didn't fix that. :smallconfused:

If restarting doesn't help... :smallconfused:

I guess you could bring up the Task Manager (assuming Windows), find the Illustrator process, and end it. If there even is a process, and its not just a bug with the installer.

The other option would be to go into Program Files, and delete all Illustrator's files, then delete any shortcuts you have. It's messy, and probably doesn't remove everything, but at least it will remove any possibility of the program running when you reinstall it.

Heh, i got *that* part working, but thanks anyways.

Anyways, should i sometime need text i could just open the picture in another program and add.

Thanks anyways

Wait, were you unable to fix the problem or unable to get it reinstalled?
