Switched browsers recently; came back here and 95% of images (like the smiley faces, the font buttons, post buttons, etc) are 403 Forbidden and don't show up on the page. What might be my problem and how do I fix it? Thanks.

Have you tried clearing the browser cache?

Clearing it doesn't seem to have fixed anything, unfortunately.

Mh, then I think I can't really help.

Here are some random ideas:
Is your old browser still working fine?
Can you recognize any pattern among showing/missing pictures (certain servers/domains)?
Have you noticed changes to other sites?

My old browser is still working fine, and I haven't seen changes in other websites. I completely disabled any Adblock and ScriptSafe protections for this site.

The broken images include:
-The font/tags toolbar
-The smilies
-Most navigation icons, like the 'Go to last post' green arrow (but NOT the links on the left toolbar, Forum and Gaming and Shop and so on)
-NOT avatars
-The thread status indicators on the left side of the forum screen
-Edit/Reply/Quote buttons
-NOT images hosted elsewhere like the dragons in my sig

Generic suggestion, but have you tried reinstalling?

I think I figured this out. I was running into the same problem, and had noticed that if I copied the URL and then loaded it in a new tab by hitting Enter in the URL bar, it'd work correctly. I think I finally tracked it down to one setting in ScriptSafe: Referrer Spoof. It claims the default is Off, but mine was set to Same Domain. After I reset it to Off, images started working like expected. Maybe it'll work for you too?
