Does anybody know what happened to the Quiver of Anariel? The Quiver that allows you to have endless arrows, and even weapon enchantments on those arrows? Supposedly it was on the wizard website but I can't seem to find it.

Edit nevermind, I found out why all the old links weren't working, the internet browser was automatically correcting ww2 for www and thus the link wasn't working. It can be located here.

http://ww2.wizards.com/Books/Wizards/?doc=fr_lonedrowstats

And the item I was looking for.

Quiver of Anariel
Quivers of Anariel appear to be typical arrow containers capable of holding a score of arrows. However, the quivers automatically replenish themselves with standard or magical arrows, such that they are always full. Some quivers also create arrows made of special materials, such as adamantine, cold iron, or alchemical silver.
Once an arrow it taken from the quiver, it must be used within 1 round or it vanishes.

Moderate conjuration; CL 7th; Craft Wondrous Item, magic weapon, minor creation; Price 28,000 gp (standard arrows), 29,000 gp (masterwork arrows), 32,000 gp (+1 arrows), 44,000 gp (+2 arrows), 64,000 gp (+3 arrows), 92,000 gp (+4 arrows), 128,000 gp (+5 arrows); Add an additional +6,000 gp for adamantine arrows, +4,005 gp for cold iron arrows, or +200 gp for alchemical silver arrows; Weight 1 lb.

So since I now have a useless thread, what do you think of this item combined with a Ranger 16/Scout 4 with the Winged Creature Template (LA of 2 which you buy off).

Using these feats of importance.
Swift Hunter[3] (Stacks Scout and Ranger lvls for Skirmish and Favored Enemy)
Improved Skirmish (Do another 2d6 Skirmish Damage if you move 20 feet)
Greater Many Shot (Will be shooting 4 arrows per standard action)
Flyby Attack:

With a +5 bow (+1 magic, +3 of which is the splitting weapon enchantment, +1 flaming)
and the quiver is +5 (+1 magic, +1 shocking, +1 frost, +2 holy)

Flyby Attack [General]
Prerequisite: Fly speed.

Benefit: When flying, the creature can take a move action (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/actionsInCombat.htm#moveActions) (including a dive) and another standard action (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/actionsInCombat.htm#standardActions) at any point during the move. The creature cannot take a second move action during a round when it makes a flyby attack.

Normal: Without this feat, the creature takes a standard action (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/actionsInCombat.htm#standardActions) either before or after its move.

Thus if my calcualtions are correct you get 2 standard actions with which you can easily move 20 feet, in 1 standard action you get 4 arrows which become 8 arrows and all these arrows get skirmish damage. Thus you are firing 16 arrows per round with each arrow getting 7d6 skirmish, 1d8 base arrow damage, 5 damage greater magic weapon, and 5d6 bow/arrow enchantment damage+Strength Modifer?

Oh winged template also gives you 4 dex and 2 wisdom and you will easily get perfect manueverbility for the template gives you manueverbility based off a table and that table is based off dex.

You know, I don't think that is how that Feat is suposed to work. I was always under the impression that it allowed you to take a Standard Action during your move (as with Ride by Attack), not in addition to a Standard Action before or after you move. The wording does appear to support your interpretation, though.

In fact, looking at the wording of Improved Fly By Attack, I'm pretty sure this Feat does not entitle you to two Standard Actions a round.

[Edit]The FAQ actually uses the same terminology to describe Ride By Attack as 'another' Standard Action. I am almost perfectly sure that this means in addition to the Move Action (as in another action), not another Standard Action.
