I'm playing a level 13 gish (level 12 wizard casting) in a campaign, and I originally had him casting nondetection each day, until I noticed the material component cost. So is there another way of getting divination protection at this level without spending 50 gp a day?

So yeah, I'm either looking for a simple way to protect against divinations or some way to remove the material component cost, either would be fine.

50gp/day is pennies at level 12, unless you run with low wealth or something.

Private Sanctum blocks any sort of scrying with no check, but is stationary.
Detect Scrying lets you make opposed CL checks, so at the very least you'll get a decent idea of who is snooping on you.

It's closer to 'no wealth.' That said though, we do start with full WBL

Though it doesn't really help this build, Slayer 5 (XPH) gets a really strong anti-scrying passive.

Shape Soulmeld (Enigma Helm) gives you SR 11+Meldshaper level (which would be 1/2 your character level) against Divinations. Not much, but it's there. At your level it would give SR 17, only 2 points weaker than the amulet.

A feat slot is fairly expensive though.
