A friend asked me a question and i do t k ow the answer to it.
Is there a way for the Spirit Sha.an to gain additional spells from a spell list other than the druids?

Any class that grants domains such as Contemplative, Divine Oracle, Church Inquisitor or Sovereign Speaker; would let you choose spells from that domain to know each day.

There's probably other ways to add spells to the list possible to choose from, I can't think of any though. I don't know of any way to increase the number of spells they can choose each day to be able to cast.

PRC paladin and ranger would add ranger and paladin spells to your list.

He is looking to add Cleric spells to his list maybe a few arcane. Would magic domain hrlp with that any?

Spell domain would be nice for anyspell. That opens up allot of arcane options, if not in a very convenient fashion.

Would rainbow servant do it?

Would rainbow servant do it?Technically, yes, but it only advances arcane casting.

So the contemplativd prc gives all thosd domains including magic that might just fit me perfectly. Its just a shame to lose the shamans class features but a fair trade i guess.

Dumb question anyway around it?

Ok so he is thinking it in a gestalt. ? 4/Soveriegn speaker 1/? 5/contemplative 10//Spirit shaman 20.

Or does he need more?

There's always Extra Spell, depending on how the DM rules things.

Perhaps you could persuade your DM to let Extra Spell choose a spell from a different list. Or use the spell research rules.

We probably could.

Ok this is for me this time.
If the Spirit Shaman had access to the Wizard/Sorcerer spell list, a Familiar and Patron Spells (Domains?) and maybe Hexes/Invocations or perhaps something else would that be too much?

I have a thread up in Homebrew would love the input.

Skypledged is another good class to expand on a Spirit Shaman's spell list.

Yeah, probably, because you wind up stronger than the wizard-- you have access to every arcane spell in the game, with no money needed for spellbooks. Plus domains and invocations.
