Is there any way to use magic, psionics or anything else to impose penalties or to hit directly to a target's Sanity Score?

I'm not talking about tainting, I know that Sanity is just a little bit different, but I would like to do something with it.

Any sourcebook or webpage where could I find anything about imposing damage to Sanity?

I don't believe there is. looking through heroes of horror I'm only seeing little mention of sanity, and it sounds more like something you'd find in call of Cthulhu.

That being said, it sounds like an awesome homebrew option. :smalltongue:

It's actually mentioned (briefly) in the SRD. Here's a link. (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/campaigns/sanity.htm#sanityAffectingMagic)

Tasha's Hideous Laughter?
Otto's Irresistible Dance?
Touch Of Idiocy?

Wisdom is usually regarded as the stat sanity is based on, if I'm not mistaken.

Summon Undead [whichever ones get Allips] also could work.

Call some Obyriths
Their SLA Form of Madness drive permanently nuts

Also, Depravity rules from Heroes of Horror
Spells, like Cloud of Taint, or monsters, like Taint Elemental, can cause it
