Do any adventures or mini events, happen, with a focus on shou lung, or interactions with the country.

The 3.5 books never go that far east. You'll have to look at older source material from 2nd edition, Kara-tur: The Eastern Realms, if you're really interested. I've looked through it for inspiration for an Oriental Adventures campaign, but it basically takes a bunch of Asian countries and runs them through a blender.
